Idk that front is pretty ugly compared to the what we have now imo. That weird 2 mouth thing with how the front is shaped from the side view is pretty catfish looking. The loss of an actual bumper in car design kinda hurts how cars are designed now. They don't what tf to put in the front and that's how we end up with useless fake vents (not in this case ofc but just in general).
edit: The best looking one is the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo. The base model Z's solid rectangle is a little weird because of how narrow it is between the headlights but the heritage looks like there's a tiny front bumper on top of another front bumper.

LOOKS a bit odd with the 2 grill segments being much the same size though.
I would have gone one step further by repeating that side satin metal strip from above the side windows and used that as a divider across the grill and onto the corners of the car incorporating a light bar, while making the 2 segments a bit more size different.

I definitely like the new front end, but you're right, $6k premium over the standard price is nuts. And where I live, honestly, I have only seen one or two of these new Z's around since they came out, what...two years ago now? They're just not very popular, at least in my area, and my area, I will usually see the hot new cars at cars & coffee pretty quickly. i personally think this heritage front end looks significantly worse. its not a square grill with a divider, its a weird trapezoid-like shape that makes the front end look way too heavy. the bottom half seemingly being more indented also looks off. i like the idea of the divider, i just really dislike the way it was executed here. it doesnt look more pointed to me, like how a 240z looks, instead it looks bottom-heavy, which isnt what i think of when i think of a fairlady... and for 60K? if you have that kinda money to spend on a nissan, youre not gonna go for the heritage version, youre going for a nismo, or better yet, an far less expensive previous model.

Well the original car design is nostalgic to the old-school Z but more so the heritage with its front end redesign. In some conversations some say an upgraded design off an original is valueless. But here nissan is debunking that theory which I am and have been always geared towards that conceptual idea... great move by nissan .. the nose couldve been cantilevered a bit more to give that shark nosed look by also disguising the short bonnet to look longer... ultimately if the bonnet is accentuated elongated in the area of the A pillar to the bonnet adding 6 to eight inches in that zone on the bonnet and fenders it would look more sexy on side profile.. but I'd say good job by nissan... 👌👌👌👌❤

The funny part is GTA V did a similar treatment for the fictional version of this car. Even a video game did a better grill design than the real car company

So, they couldn't make the reef stickers not look like stickers and integrate them into the paint? 🤔

That's the objective of this channel. Besides, he's correct in that the price is ludicrous for a front bumper upgrade. I'd hate to find out what that bumper costs here in Canada...!

@@pharaohcooks No because he was comparing it to the 240z which has a bumper that splits the grill in two. That's why he said it should have had the separation.

I have seen exactly zero of these since they got refreshed, and I'm in an affluent area. I don't like the shiny strop above the door - looks weird. I do like these latest adjustments tho.
