How does Hypermesh define thickness change?? can we set tolerance value to avoid creating so many components for one part ? @6:07, you were checking the portion of the mesh which cannot be of different thickness....I understand plastic parts have different thickness, that would be from ribs, base, attachment tabs, but that portion of the mesh cannot be of different thickness....that is software's phuckUP..... different companies have different rules for tolerance value.
so there is no fixed criteria.
Assign thickness is important for swaged parts (Tie-rod body).
for rod, you have to make it as 1D rod. in that case thickness not needed. you need to specify cross section dimensions
I need thickness tag pls provide the file if uh have
you have add tags manually.
