    Before Kanye West came to Wyoming, Jalan was our most famous musician.
    It's really hard to put a stamp on Wyoming music, but Jalan get's pretty close. I think officially, Jalan Crossland was the first concert I ever went to. Hearing him play mountain music like he did, made me realize, this is Wyoming music.

      That may be because it is not a banjo, it is a guitjo - a six string guitar on a banjo body. It allows guitar players to make the banjo sounds without learning the banjo. This dude makes it sound great

    From cheyenne wyoming here born and raised! The lincoln is a beloved theater that used to play dollar movies and has been around since the cowboy days. It's been turned into a music venue in the last few years, and although it breaks my heart to not get to see movies there anymore, I believe bringing artists like this to our little western town is so amazing!! The lincoln will never die ❤

      I played in a metal band with Jalan in the early 90s in Pittsburgh before he moved back to Wyoming. Id love to hear him plug in and shred some motley crue these days.

    saw this guy open for Robert Earl Keen in Boston back in like 2006. dude was absolutely amazing live, rotating through various instruments, good to see him still crushing it

    Jalan Crossland is the reason I started hosting house concerts in 2011. Still my favorite. Ya never forget your 1st time. Such a wonderful artist and a fairly decent Human... Love ya Jalan!

    Had the pleasure of seeing him in Ten Sleep Wyoming just last night! So talented, funny and engaging! He had the crowd on their feet! The man can pick!!! I love his raspy voice, too. So happy to have been able to learn of him and hear him.

    Grandmother's sister was in prison for a few yrs for selling to undercover in 1920-the 30s. Beer and whiskey were made on our old ranch.... after prohibition grandfather made kegs of beer and would feed the poor from Silver city to Mimbres NM... they would come by wagon and model T and camp on our property... Sully the manager for the Kennecott mines would be there on the 4th of July for Grandmother's Birthday.

    I LOVE YOUR MUSIC! I lived in Cheyenne. 1929 the theater was built but sure is beautiful 😊

      In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Glad to hear someone has the facts. He said in was built in the 1400s 🤦
