Lori was a master manipulator though, so there no guarantee she wouldn't have smooth talked over police concerns, and with her level of religiosity, the police contact might not have made a difference. It's really sad. Lori is a real POS grifter. Seems like her whole life was spent doing nothing but manipulating people to get what she wants.
I cried and it felt personal to me. He by all accounts was a good man, husband, father, brother and friend. I hope Chad is convicted and sentenced to death. I hope Laurie gets convicted in Arizona. Two evil people who destroyed so much good.

We are having heavenly weather since the beginning of the New Year….cool breezes, dry humidity and very little rain. The year before was high humidity and high temperatures right out of the gate and you needed your central air conditioning working in perfect condition and on all the time. I know what John Pryor’s role is but I can’t stand listening to his cross examination of any person that is on the stand. You have a remarkable memory to remember all the people attending this year’s trail from last year’s trail. Hearing Det. Kunsaitis choke up during his testimony today, and hearing you describe him as being emotional after Lori’s guilty verdict, just proves that he is in the right profession. Chad’s, Lori’s and Alex’s devious acts have affected SO MANY people. They have caused so much pain and sadness to of course family and friends, but also to all the numerous police officers, detectives, crime scene specialists, investigators, prosecution team, news reporters, and the list goes on. Neighbours, Church members, Coworkers of Tammy and Charles, students of Tammy’s, and school teachers and classmates of the children. I will continue to pray for all the victims and everyone that has been affected. Heartbreaking 💔

From seeing Emma on that police video I’m realising that it’s not about believing in her father’s innocence or not. She believes in what he did to be right and just. It won’t matter what evidence they put in front of his children, they know what he did, it’s a question of whether they think what he did is justifiable? This is the epitome of indoctrination.
I try to put myself in his kids position and think about my own dad and you would never want to believe your parent did this, especially if he was a good dad prior to this. It’s really a tough thing they have to deal with.

The prosecution keeps needing to remind the jury/judge that Chad barely made $30k a year as I remember. Who can afford to travel on that income before the insurance money kicked in?
You asked for my opinion of the trial so far, here goes. I am disappointed with the prosecution prosecution. They need to pick up the pace. The defense is doing a good job, even though I can't stand the guy.
The prosecution has to establish that crimes were committed whether by Lori, Chad, or Alex, in order for there to be a conspiracy, which Chad is charged with. They are doing a phenomenal job at that. Sorry that it's boring to you. I remember how tedious this was in Lori's trial as well, but it's necessary to show there were crimes committed. Just because Chad wasn't the one spending the money doesn't mean he didn't conspire to do so.
The reason the date of Charles Vallow death on the timeline is important is very simple. Lori and Chad thought she was getting a million dollar payout from Charles insurance. However he had changed the beneficiary to kay. I believe this escalated their timeline to murder jj and tylee and the plot to kill tammy to get her insurance. Big question is... if lori had gotten the million dollar insurance money, would jj, tylee and tammy still be alive?
Yes, Lori must have checked the insurance earlier to see what she would get if Charles died. She found out it was 1M and she also did research and found out she would get a 4k SS monthly death benefit for JJ. So, Charles is killed, and she finds out the beneficiary changed. Chad says it must have been changed recently, like when he had 2 bullets in his chest... I wonder when it was changed. I wish they would include that in the case and if and when Lori checked the insurance beneficiary. She said you could go online and check it in a phone call with Chad. Chad was clearly in the 'know' with her on the insurance benefits. Also if Charles talked to anyone about it including his insurance agent. I'll bet Charles changed it around the time he was talking to police. He was worried for his life at that point.
@sharinburke100 Charles changed the beneficiary on his insurance policy on the advice of the attorney he visited re his divorce from Lori. After hearing Charles' story and fears the lawyer thought it best to remove Lori from the insurance. Interesting the lawyer was concerned and believed Charles when no one else did.

They have caused so much pain and sadness to of course family and friends, but also to all the numerous police officers, detectives, crime scene specialists, investigators, prosecution team, news reporters, and the list goes on. Neighbours, Church members, Coworkers of Tammy and Charles, students of Tammy’s, and school teachers and classmates of the children. I will continue to pray for all the victims and everyone that has been affected. Heartbreaking 💔

From seeing Emma on that police video I’m realising that it’s not about believing in her father’s innocence or not. She believes in what he did to be right and just. It won’t matter what evidence they put in front of his children, they know what he did, it’s a question of whether they think what he did is justifiable? This is the epitome of indoctrination.
He is their father!
They may find out more info during the trial that may change their mind
I try to put myself in his kids position and think about my own dad and you would never want to believe your parent did this, especially if he was a good dad prior to this. It’s really a tough thing they have to deal with.

I am disappointed with the prosecution prosecution. They need to pick up the pace. The defense is doing a good job, even though I can't stand the guy.
The prosecution has to establish that crimes were committed whether by Lori, Chad, or Alex, in order for there to be a conspiracy, which Chad is charged with. They are doing a phenomenal job at that. Sorry that it's boring to you. I remember how tedious this was in Lori's trial as well, but it's necessary to show there were crimes committed. Just because Chad wasn't the one spending the money doesn't mean he didn't conspire to do so.

The reason the date of Charles Vallow death on the timeline is important is very simple. Lori and Chad thought she was getting a million dollar payout from Charles insurance. However he had changed the beneficiary to kay. I believe this escalated their timeline to murder jj and tylee and the plot to kill tammy to get her insurance. Big question is... if lori had gotten the million dollar insurance money, would jj, tylee and tammy still be alive?
But it does seem that it is on the timeline to imply something specific and I’m not sure if that is fair, or unfair really. But it does stand out.
Yes, Lori must have checked the insurance earlier to see what she would get if Charles died. She found out it was 1M and she also did research and found out she would get a 4k SS monthly death benefit for JJ. So, Charles is killed, and she finds out the beneficiary changed. Chad says it must have been changed recently, like when he had 2 bullets in his chest... I wonder when it was changed. I wish they would include that in the case and if and when Lori checked the insurance beneficiary. She said you could go online and check it in a phone call with Chad. Chad was clearly in the 'know' with her on the insurance benefits. Also if Charles talked to anyone about it including his insurance agent. I'll bet Charles changed it around the time he was talking to police. He was worried for his life at that point.

@sharinburke100 Charles changed the beneficiary on his insurance policy on the advice of the attorney he visited re his divorce from Lori. After hearing Charles' story and fears the lawyer thought it best to remove Lori from the insurance. Interesting the lawyer was concerned and believed Charles when no one else did.
@@Gangstgma Yes. But we see also in Charles obituary he was a financial advisor, so maybe was his decision but took lawyer's advice too.
