I wish someone would start a new league for adult, professional women who love basketball. I have had enough of the wnba's petty and jealous little mean girls who are emotionally stuck in middle school! Who needs them to be role models for their kids? A competent commissioner and qualified referees would also be welcomed!
I'm 70 year old Asian woman. Never interested in watching women's basketball because I thought it was pretty boring. However, when a friend of mine raved about this young player called Caitlin Clark from Iowa, for the first time in my life I find her game exciting to watch. As I started to pay more attention on WNBA, watching a lot of the interviews and sport news. I got even more impressed with Caitlin's poise, her positive attitud and her communication skills. She's only 22! Yet the way she carries herself is impressive! There are reasons so many people like me tuned in to watch WNBA just because of her! I don't believe it's because she's white or black, I think it's because of her personality, her skill and her charm! The world we're dealing with is chaotic enough. I believe if we all focus on and appreciate more on positive energy, our world will be a better place for everybody!
I am the same. Was only watching NBA and ignored WNBA until I heard of Caitlin Clark and the rest of her team! I don't know what to think of those referees. Are they doing it on purpose?

Not true. I was able to get tickets to Fever games up to the last minute on three occasions this Summer and I didn't go to a reseller. Huge increase in attendance, yes. Sold out, no. She's terrific.

I would have watched the rest of the wnba but when there is blatant cheating that no one seems to want to talk about. It was not bad reffing but out right cheating and until that gets fixed I am done watching
As a coach, how can you allow fingernails and eyelashes which clearly hinder the players abilities. I would want my team 100% into the game. Not 50% gaming and 50% posing for a fashion shoot.

I'm not even sure I want to watch next season mainly because of the refs. They went after the Fever's players trying to disrupt them from winning. First it was Smith, then in was AB, next it was Lexie Hull. They kept being called for fouls but the same fouls weren't called on the other teams. You'd have to be blind not to have noticed. Twice fouls were called on AB when she was innocent and it was proven in challenges. What the heck was going on? Basically they were trying to get them out of the game. It appeared both Smith and Hull loss some of their confidence after being called early on for fouls in games. Refs are there to referee the game not to take out players so the other team can win. It's disgusting. If the WNBA wants to be taken seriously they need to do something about the referees. Winning by basically cheating is not winning.

I won't watch and Clark didn't lose a single playoff game, It was hand delivered on a platter to the Suns by the refs. The refs were indeed horrible. The Sun scored 15 more points from fouls than the Fever, and the Sun won by only 6. So Refs helped the Sun 100%. There were many uncalled fouls on Clark. Crazy.

I watched Fever games, but I also watched other teams play because I was interested in Fever match up the rest of the season. I went from watching 5 games a week to watching none for another 200 days. No one wants to watch ugly women brick layups.

I never knew who Caitlin was. After watching her first small media videos. I see every small news pod that comes out. I love watching her escape her defenders, passing and especially her 3 points shots. I do not blame the fans if they dont attend.
If the WNBA is going to allow players on opposing teams to basically assault Ms. Clark each game without penalizing the players involved, I can't support it. The last straw was when the Connecticut player nearly took out Clark's right eye in the first playoff game and then just wouldn't call flagrant fouls in the second. It was fixed.

For starters, I have always been a huge bball person. It was my first choice of games to play, and later in life, to watch. That being said, it would not surprise me if CC decides it isn't worth playing in the WNBA ever again due to the amount of hate from the players and the leagues inability to squash all the hatred projected toward her. I'm 70 year old Asian woman. Never interested in watching women's basketball because I thought it was pretty boring. However, when a friend of mine raved about this young player called Caitlin Clark from Iowa, for the first time in my life I find her game exciting to watch. As I started to pay more attention on WNBA, watching a lot of the interviews and sport news. I got even more impressed with Caitlin's poise, her positive attitud and her communication skills. She's only 22! Yet the way she carries herself is impressive! There are reasons so many people like me tuned in to watch WNBA just because of her! I don't believe it's because she's white or black, I think it's because of her personality, her skill and her charm! The world we're dealing with is chaotic enough. I believe if we all focus on and appreciate more on positive energy, our world will be a better place for everybody!

I'm not even sure I want to watch next season mainly because of the refs. They went after the Fever's players trying to disrupt them from winning. First it was Smith, then in was AB, next it was Lexie Hull. They kept being called for fouls but the same fouls weren't called on the other teams. You'd have to be blind not to have noticed. Twice fouls were called on AB when she was innocent and it was proven in challenges. What the heck was going on? Basically they were trying to get them out of the game. It appeared both Smith and Hull loss some of their confidence after being called early on for fouls in games. Refs are there to referee the game not to take out players so the other team can win. It's disgusting. If the WNBA wants to be taken seriously they need to do something about the referees. Winning by basically cheating is not winning.

I won't watch and Clark didn't lose a single playoff game, It was hand delivered on a platter to the Suns by the refs. I never knew who Caitlin was. After watching her first small media videos. I see every small news pod that comes out. I love watching her escape her defenders, passing and especially her 3 points shots. I do not blame the fans if they dont attend.
If the WNBA is going to allow players on opposing teams to basically assault Ms. Clark each game without penalizing the players involved, I can't support it. The last straw was when the Connecticut player nearly took out Clark's right eye in the first playoff game and then just wouldn't call flagrant fouls in the second. It was fixed.
we have rugby league players banned for 12 months for eye gouging and rugby is a hard sport....That cobra move she pulled with her hand was obvious and how on earth can players have blades for finger nails...rugby reuires you to cut your nails as far down as possible...and refs check every player before a game.
For starters, I have always been a huge bball person. It was my first choice of games to play, and later in life, to watch. That being said, it would not surprise me if CC decides it isn't worth playing in the WNBA ever again due to the amount of hate from the players and the leagues inability to squash all the hatred projected toward her.
