We did alright with a fly around defense in regular season but lacked in rim protection and rebounding. Gobert was picked up to fill those holes. Unfortunately, KAT has missed 90% of the season so we have zero clue if that pairing will/could ever work. Some question if it was the right move because we should be building around ANT since he's our best player and future. Gobert is both an awkward player and a dominant player. Jamal Murray should be top ten worst without question. And not because of much under his control. A max contract guy that keeps the Nuggets from having any bench whatsoever but also has essentially ended the Nuggets chances due to injury the last two years. @Joc Of Nazareth They made the deal to support KAT, while KAT is in his prime. We've been getting waxed year after year on defense because KAT is a 7ft finesse player. We had no rim protection.
It's taken guys 3/4th the season to figure out playing with him -- it may never work out -- but our ceiling is much higher with him if they can figure it out. No question he guards the paint like no other.
@@jocofnazareth To the minority of Wolves fans that actually have a clue about how NBA basketball works, it made less than no sense. It made a negative amount of sense.
Funny enough though, there were a ton of Wolves fans that were ecstatic that we traded away the next 7-10 years of potential championship contention for a shot at maybe one or two 2nd round playoff appearances.
@@weights250 nah he's fallen off and is becoming a liability. Wrong player to trade for
Until further notice, Ben Simmons is the worst contract in all of major sports! Maybe Russell Wilson in another year! 😂 😂
Ben Simmons’ contract is fucking insane
Jamal Murray should be top ten worst without question. And not because of much under his control. A max contract guy that keeps the Nuggets from having any bench whatsoever but also has essentially ended the Nuggets chances due to injury the last two years. And this year he's clearly not the player he was. He's lost his skittery quickness and first step and has been forced to fall back on taking extremely tough shots from the perimeter. His physical inability and mental inability to adjust to a new reality and recognize Jokic is both the bread and the butter will likely cost the Nuggets another shot at actual contention. But going forward how to you unload his contract? Connelly got out of town for a reason.
The 2nd half of this season Jamal Murray has been absolute fire and back to his old self. Nuggets also have a solid enough bench. You been up in outerspace you heathen???
Wolves fan here.
@@WheresWaldo05 I've watched every game of his career. He's been fire? Literally, what planet are you on? He's been selfish trash since the all star break. Zero defense and a lot of hero ball. I'm guessing you're a casual and I might add have watched probably the worst basketball in the league your whole life so I won't blame you for your take.
I worry about Reggie Jackson, always have and always will. Maybe they got him if Murray gets injured, but he's a black hole on O. They need more Bruce Browns and AG's. Porter has actually improved a bit and is trying.
@@WheresWaldo05 He’s just a Jokic fan coming up with an early out excuse for the playoffs already.
You guys need to put timestamps
