International Labor Day (first week of May), PRC Foundation and Mid-Autumn Festival (usually in October), New Year (end-December), Qingming/Tomb Sweeping Festival (either March or April) and Spring Festival (either January or February), some of them will be depending on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, are the PEAK SEASONS of travels for Chinese citizens and expats.
It might be a little strenuous though you don't have to walk the whole area and as long as they're not afraid of heights as you have to take the cable car or lift up!

For the wall tour which one exactly did you purchase that included the slide and what not, please? I’ll be going to Beijing in February and I’m working on my agenda. 😊
I did the “Roundtrip Bus+Ticket+Lunch” option on this Viator tour, then while on the bus I opted for the roundtrip cable car and slide viator.tp.st/Fg3O5LrA

Hi! I can't remember but this site says you can also take cable car since they're run by different companies. But safest to message the tour company! But yeah the open chair lift was a bit unhinged 😅 wildgreatwall.com/mutianyu-toboggan-ride/

I thought it was fine and clean! I think I had like a curtain sliding door. The only con is that you need a local sim card number to access the wifi, and I only had an esim.
hi! vlog was very nice 😊 I got a question tho: I'm planning to solo travel soon and I was considering China... Did you ever feel too lonely while your solo travel? Many people say it's boring and not worth to travel alone so I'm conflicted now😢
Thanks! It depends on the person tbh! I enjoy traveling solo and visiting sites. You can also join group tours or local events, but if your main interest is to see China, I would go for it.
For Great Wall tour and Forbidden City I booked online since it was easier. For most parks you can pay there. But if you're visiting during any busy seasons, I would book ahead just in case.
Explored around by myself. There's audio guides + English translations available on the informational placards, but a knowledgeable tour guide would probably enhance the tour!
