Nice little project, Jeff! It's a nice way to use up some leftovers. I used to make one similar with the base being longer to accommodate salt and pepper shakers on one end and ketchup & mustard on the other. I also used rectangular pieces instead of dowels and added a piece between them to make a handle to carry it with. Thanks for video!
Oh yeah. A great little beginner shop project. Thanks for teaching these things still. Unfortunately, so many schools don't anymore. I loved all my shop classes.
Nice Jeff, I don't need one and don't do a lot of woodworking. So if I were to make one I would do 1" thick aluminum base, 1/2" stainless rods and steel weight with linear rod bearings. Or just 3D print one. 😂😂😂😂
You could totally print one. I should work on a file for that. Although I do like the all metal version. Its super solid and the linear bearings would just take it to another level.
Hey Jeff, nice little project. Looks like a good way to spend a couple of happy hours. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing that!
Thank You!
