- Here's a useful project that you can build in no time using scrap wood. This scrap wood napkin holder is great for outdoor events because it holds the napkins in place so they don't blow around. Its also great for everyday use on your table. We had one on ours every day when I was growing up. I made the simple version to get your ideas going. You can make this as simple or fancy as you want. Have fun with it and make it your own.

Nice little project, Jeff! It's a nice way to use up some leftovers. I used to make one similar with the base being longer to accommodate salt and pepper shakers on one end and ketchup & mustard on the other. I also used rectangular pieces instead of dowels and added a piece between them to make a handle to carry it with. Thanks for video!

Nice Jeff, I don't need one and don't do a lot of woodworking. So if I were to make one I would do 1" thick aluminum base, 1/2" stainless rods and steel weight with linear rod bearings. Or just 3D print one. 😂😂😂😂
You could totally print one. I should work on a file for that. Although I do like the all metal version. Its super solid and the linear bearings would just take it to another level.
