- In honor of the iconic and beloved Motown legend, Diana Ross on her 75th gala Diamond Jubilee Birthday Celebration, I made this video from one of her performances at the Wynn Encore Theater in Las Vegas, NV. On February 17th, 2019, Diana Ross sang her inspiring hit, "The Boss" and I added inspiring quips that she had made throughout her career that has been taken to heart by her fans. Her fans know how Ms Ross career and songs has helped them through difficult times and inspired them to become better people. With songs like "Reach Out and Touch," "It's My Turn" and "I Will Survive," Diana Ross songs are not just about love but about understanding and introspective reflections. I don't know if she is aware of how much she has helped people through difficult times but I felt after 75 years, it's time that we show her what she means to us. Happy Birthday Ms Ross.

No they hate her because they don't understand how she became so successful with a squeaky thin stepped-on-a-cat voice. They couldn't hear the other wonderful qualities of it. Also they thought everything happening with the 60s Supremes with her being favored was because of her. No it was because of Berry
People like to say it was because she was having an intimate relationship with Berry. So what, Madonna had boyfriends that gave her an advantage too. That's not what kept her on the charts for 30 years

Used to be a huge fan, but her live voice used to sound much better live than on records--not so anymore. For those that grew up with her when she was just a teenager, it is now unlistenable. The voice is gone.

My Opinion, what's wrong with Kent Allen's depiction!!!. Whitney Houston said that Miss Diana Ross set a pathway for all other Afro American female entertainers to walk through and you know what?.........she was absolutely CORRECT!!!. Miss Ross learned from the all time greats, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Josephine Baker, to name but a few and paid homage to them in her tv show, "Red Hot Rhythm and Blues" and said she owed a debt of gratitude to these women and Whitney was expressing EXACTLY the same thing about Miss Ross!!!. So show the lady some RESPECT as she's EARNED it and she will go down in history as the greatest female entertainer OF ALL TIME!!!.
