They have no qualifications or experience, and come here to compete with people who were born in this country who also have no qualifications or experience. Once the points system is introduced next year, those immigrants with no qualifications or experience will no longer be able to come here. Therefore those born in this country with little to no state education will have a better chance of getting work.

To be fair, as much as I don't like UKIP supporters, Farrage didn't say anything remotely racist in this particular clip. He just said job priority should be given to those living in Britain over those living outside of it.

If Ms. Burley is representative of the opposition against Farage, then I have no doubt UKIP will keep growing. Rarely does such transparent attempt to smear gain respect, and rarely does such poised response fail to do the same.
Since when are British people a race? Protecting British people is not racism. Its simply means that the British government should take care of British people first like they were voted in to do. No races are being discriminated against.

One would assume Kay Burley has a vendetta against Farage, like half the video was calling him a racist, and when he uses statistics, as all politicos do, she then tells him specifically not to, twice, that's not your job. Does anyone accuse David Cameron of being a racist for wanting to reduce migration.

Nice bit of objective journalism as ever from sky. They tried this last time with Nigel when they used the rivers of blood speech quote. She is another person who clearly doesn't understand racism. Merely suggesting that citizens get different treatment from non citizens is not racist. If she believes that then I suggest she leaves sky as they do, like every other company, operate with nationality restrictions.

Kay Burley is capable of very good journalism. She was amazing during some coverage of a Space Shuttle mission, clearly booked up on her facts, even called Shuttle Atlantis a "she" which is correct but rarely used by the non space media.
Yet we then see this horrendous interview, where it looks like she purposely didn't sleep the night before just to get into an even more annoying mood. It's almost desperate how she's trying to make a name for herself in this, but worst still it's not journalism. Journalism is objective. She was not being objective.

I am really, really worried at what Farage is saying here @4:00. He is trying to pit Afro Caribbean youth against Poles. That amounts to inciting violence and I am terrified. Terrified that we may have another riot and the target will be Polish establishments and residences.

What an unprofessional interviewer. I find it staggering how rude and bias Sky could be. Throwing around unfounded accusations of racism is not going to get anyone anywhere. Farage handled the situation with finesse
Now that I've taken a bit of time to fully soak in this ridiculous interview, I can't help but laugh at how petty and desperate the establishment have become over the rise of UKIP.

i honestly cannot believe how calm and collective nigel farage is in this interview. I've been sitting how thinking about all the different reactions/responses i would have done/said if I were being asked these questions and my god, Farage is just such a gentleman. I would have literally been on the floor of laughter and honestly would have just start speaking to the viewers saying "take a look everyone, this is what ridiculous reporting looks like." I am astonished really... I hate people who think like this woman. So unprofessional... what a clown.
Nigel speaks true common sense. It's not racism at all. It's time to change Britian, vote UKIP. We've let Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats in power, and they haven't done much good for this country. Now it's UKIP's turn to see what they have.

Wow im really begining to see the agenda of the big broadcasting media. Their was me thinking that racism was about race, not your opinion on whether Britsh people (Indian, Polish, Pakistani, German, African etc, who also can be british) should have first choice on a job.
What makes no sense is that he argues that British people have a right to live and find work in other European countries, but that other Europeans are not allowed to come to Britain although for some reason he flip-flops and says Irish people in the European Union would be allowed to live in the UK though. He likes the Common Market but only wants British goods to benefit rather than other European businesses and wants to set their own tax-levels to undermine said Common Market in favour of Britain. He likes how British goods can be sold all over the EU due to the harmonized laws introduced but then he turns around and say how undemocratic it is. It makes no sense at all. He simply cannot make a decision on the issue and merely is cherry-picking.

Can't help another post. the more I think about it the more annoyed I get. This has to be the biggest over reaction, exaggerated and just pointless attack on Ukip yet. I've seen some desperate ones and some silly ones. This is a bit of each.
I really fail to see why they continue with it. It's having no impact. Why? Because MOST people aren't stupid.
The standard of journalism in this country is so atrocious these days. If I was the Fat Controller for the BBC or Channel 4 there would be an awful lot of the likes of Kay Burley out looking for a new job.
Why Sky News use Kay, someone who is unable to remain impartial to save her life is beyond me. She's so clearly out to push her own political views and satisfy her own agenda that any actual questions about UKIP's manifesto and plans for the future get shoved to the back. Never understood why Sky can look at interviews like this and think it's completely fine.
So the definition of racism is deeming one race 'superior' to another. Maybe she should have taken that dictionary and looked up 'superior'. Is that what Farage is saying? Or is he saying that he believes the UK should prioritise the welfare of its own inhabitant before others?

I think this once again shows how the media is not objective.
Burley dismisses any reference to statistic - accurate or not - by claiming that Farage is getting "bogged down in the figures" which is tantamount to challenging them for just being numerical - she effectively says, "I do not support your use of numbers."
I see him quoting figures but do not see him becoming bogged down - if anything Burley is confused by his use of numbers.
Based Farage proves yet again, he cannot be barraged.

English people aren't a race anyway, it's a nationality. Within this nationality we have people of asian race, middle-eastern race, european race who should all get employment over people who are not citizens of this nation. I myself am of mediterranean race and so UKIP cannot be considered racist without discriminating against a race.
She should use that dictionary to look up the definition of race and nationality so that she can understand the difference.

Wow, i just do not understand why people want britain to stay in the control of the eu. Why would anyone give up their democracy and country. Am i missing something or is there only a few who understand the situation.
I did not have a wonderful education, but I can see that the UK is suffering from a low level of intellect, and this will impact adversely upon our ability to make important political decisions, and to appoint honest leaders to government in the future.

To what extent do think genetically british people are pure? There is mixing as with any county open to the world. No one in britain can claim that they are 100% of British ancestry. To even claim that someone is genetically british is also acknowledging the fact that they are immigrants from elsewhere. Most British people are from germanic decent from mainland europe. So technically no one is british since no one truly originated from this small island nation. It would be more accruate to say that we are of european decent. That being said, if a new island popped up and people moved there after a few generations are the people genetically bound to that island or are their genetics bound to their original past location? this principal can then be applied to the British.
