Awesome video, I want to upgrade plex audio on my 20 LRS with memphis shade road warrior fairing however, I am so concerned that since this fairing is detachable, anyone can remove this fairing n get stolen. What your thoughts on this
I connected straight to the battery, the Plex Audio includes everything you need. You could solder into the main line, if you don't wish to use the power button.

Gotta be careful with the can bus can’t just tap into any wire. I have the Wernimont TXR faring. I installed Rockford fosgate speakers and amp with Bluetooth receiver and a handlebar control unit Bluetooth as well.

Try stopping your media player before turning off the plex audio. I've heard it thump every time if I don't stop the media device. I'm getting distortion from one of the speakers, I probably blew out another speaker.
It really depends on the fairing, the bigger the windshield the better the sound. I've honestly started hearing some distortion in the left speaker. It's disappointing, I don't use em that often because of the motovlogs. Now I have to ship them to Florida, and pay for the return shipping.
Just put the plex on my 18 street Bob putting the road warrior back on was pure hell and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be rattling against the top of the headlight Haha I never want to do that again but I'm sure I'm gonna have to Haha weird you had to move your bottom mounts back and top ones forward I had to set all 4 forward to even get close pretty much had to beat the son of a bitch out of the fairing to get it back on I don't recommend Haha
It was tough for me too. I dinged the speakers grill with the stock risers. After many attempts I got it to fit, I later changed the risers. Now I'm getting the plex rubbing against my risers, slight wear and tear. I'm getting some rubbing against the fairing, nothing too bad. I also had some pinching around my wires and clutch cable from the plex bracket. I've recently noticed distortion in the left speaker, it's still under warranty. Let's see how this plays out.

No, the stock risers are 5 inches. I'm sure 5 inch kickback risers will fit. They fit, its just a minor ding on the speaker grill. I can live with it.

The quick detach could get stolen, but I have a helmet lock on my fairing.

what did you use for a trigger wire? in other words what wire did you tap into to power up the speaker and Bluetooth?

how does the frontend handle with the additional weight?
Honestly its only about 10lbs-15 lbs added weight. I can't notice a difference.
which bracket did you order for the Road Warrior? universal?

Its the universal bracket, i didn't want to mount it on the fairing. It's sold separately.

5:20 you can ground to the frame or the battery.

How well does it work going down the highway man? That’s my only hang up is if I can’t hear it at 80+ it’s not worth the money to me
