  • I always listen to music when I work, rest and play. Makita have made an amazing little bluetooth speaker that has really good sound and is sold for a price that is not unrealistic! It can even charge your phone at the same time!

I was really close to getting the Makita radio with Bluetooth, but after watching your video, I am definitely considering the DMR200. Thanks

How does the battery charge? I just got this and when I unplug the speaker it does right away. Do I have to charge the battery separately?

The speaker is huge, costs a mint, and battery costs extra. It better be one heck of a speaker!

have a Makita DMR115 and have a question. I would like to get a better - louder - sound from my radio. Can I connect a Makita loudspeaker to my radio?. If “yes” which one should I select? I will buy only one speaker and don’t care if I lose the stereo sound. Maybe the radio will sent both channels as one channel to the extra speaker? Please inform me what to do. Regards, Gunleik Gjerde, Norway

In my opinion the best way to get radio stations on this speaker is using radio applications on your phone that you enjoy, then you can Bluetooth it directly. I do this all the time and it works very well.
To do this using a cable from your radio to the speakers AUX port the radio would have to have an audio line output, not very common on radio
Good luck and all the best 👍

I wonder if you could use a mic 🎤 into the Aux?

That just might work. I don't have any microphones that could plug in to try 😕 🤔

Alex, is it possible to play music from a USB stick ?

I have tried this for you Ralph. No luck, I can't get any music to play. Seems it is only for charging your phone.
