Hey man, I've been browsing all of your videos, you make some great educational content that's not super basic and exactly in line with what I need. It's pretty entertaining too and I like how you provide a backdrop and history to what you're doing without it being annoying. Great structure. Keep it up, you've got a fan here.
Thank you so much for this great tutorial! This will definitely come in handy when running videos through NTSC-RS, and giving it a full VHS feel aurally and visually speaking.
Thanks! I plan on doing a follow up tutorial on how to make the tracking errors and analog type glitches. But you can achieve it with some displacement maps and various static elements. Hopefully I can get that to y'all soon. Thanks for watching!
The line noise can also be done by starting with a pure sine wave and applying an extremely heavy distortion filter. I believe that's closer to how it happens in real life, since AC voltage is a sine wave.
Man, I've been watching all of you videos, your channel is basically what EVERY editor and a filmmaker needs, congratulations dude.
Good stuff, hard to find in depth tutorials like this for audition

Hey, nice tutorial ! How did you do the bad tracking visual effect at 09:50 ?

Hell yeah! That could work, too! I'm personally not a fan of Auditions' built-in distortion effect, but you can totally achieve it using this method.
@@studiomgh I use Audacity personally, since my processing needs aren't so complicated.
