This was my most anticipated set out of all 4 days of this festival and it was 100% worth attending. My dream finally came true and I heard Escape live from its creator, which is one of my all-time favourite trance tracks. It was also one of my 3 requests played during this set - two others were "Hunting 2004" + "Green Heaven" (I requested unreleased Airbase remix of Green Heaven, but original worked for me as well). You can hear me shouting "GREEN HEAVEN" at 34:21-34:22 and showing Jezper the "please release it!" text on my phone during 36:22 🤣(as I thought he was playing his remix, not original) - I hope his smile meant that one day he might upload the full track 🙏Love how he played 3 VdM tracks, which shows his love to this legend. Original Tenshi, as Jezper stated in one of his interviews, is his favourite trance track, so hearing his touch was really cool, especially as an intro. I hope it will get a release some day or a free-downloadable option. Such Is Life (Marco V Remix) - never heard this remix before, now it's my favourite. It's proper melancholic trance, just as I LOVE! Selu Vibra - Divine was probably the most unexpected track in this mix, which was out on Somatic Sense, one of my fav. labels. Fantastic tune. During "Modus Operandi" breakdown I actually thought he was playing "Love Theme Dusk" and it was funny that the last one was played near the end - I guess it inspired Jezper for his breakdown. Rapture (Armin van Buuren Remix) - probably the best version of this track. Also love how he pleased the orange t-shirt people (including The Thrillseekers in the crowd) by playing Luminary - Amsterdam (Smith & Pledger Remix) :) The t-shirt text said "S&P Remix ✅, S8&T Remix ❌" One of my 3 favourite sets of all 4 days. His mixing wasn't the best, but Airbase is a fantastic producer and even if this set was pre-recorded I would still enjoy it 😁
Medusa... What a banger of bangers this track is! It blew my mind when heard it for the first time on Tiesto's Elements of Life Copenhagen concert DVD back in 2007, and it has been one of my most favorite tracks ever since! Pure quality and spirit of trance music! Airbase is a LEGEND!
This man is amazing. What a beautiful set! You don't understand. The amount of emotion he puts in every time. The connection he makes with the crowd. God level! That was spectacular! Airbase is truly a remarkable legend in the Trance music scene. This touched my heart and almost made me tear up.

The contrast between the real deal and ghost-produced wannabes during this Luminosity couldn't have been bigger. Airbase is the real deal. The only tracks missing are some his more harder tracks such as Sinister or Bells of the Tianenman remix
Bells of the Tianenman remix is a monster track! I remember Tiesto used to play it a lot back at 2004/5. Also another tracks missing are his remixes of Break my Fall and Elements of life.
This guy has changed my life in 2005 when I had the opportunity to attend his set in Budapest. I was still very new to trance and there was mostly Tiesto and Svenson&Gielen for me. He showed me how colorful trance can be besides these styles. I also got the chance to talk to him a bit, and he's an awesome guy in person too! He is still a role model to me, and it's an unspeakable joy to see him assemble such a set in 2023!
Absolutely love this guy. I remember being 14 and my buddy sending me his track Emotion over IRC back when I still used a dial-up modem. It brings back a lot of fond memories. Discovering trance music was like stumbling upon a brave new world.

Found it today, so sad that I missed this performance of Airbase, thought that he retired, would have visited the festival only because of him if i knew ... one of the best trance producers of all time!
Great set! Thank you Jesper! Genie and tangerine inclusion would be great. But medusa escape and hunting tracks are cool as well. One of the greatest trance producers for sure. Loved Vincent de moor stuff as well.
Great great set... and with My Religión and Divine in a row... the only thing missing from the set was my favorite Airbase theme, One Tear Away, it would have already been 10
1. He decided to flee from social platforms, and even his music-related colleagues don't know where he is. No idea why he became so super-private (just like Alphazone guys). 2. He was not a dj, only a producer, so there's no chance we'll see him at Luminosity.
And speaking of VdM... Any chance of getting him to come out from hiding and doing a set for Lumi 2024?! We all know he's retired and stuff, but that's NO EXCUSE for depriving us of his absolute masterclass of trance productions! 😁

In case you missed it, Vincent de Moor is / was an amazing producer, but he is / was not a DJ, so he doesn't do DJ sets.
