    Hope you guys like this type of content! I know it’s not Toyota or Supra related, but Shawn’s DSM is one of the cleanest I’ve seen.

      PF, I'd definitely be game for zome other 90'z era JDM content.... *cough*cough* Juzt Zayin' 😁. The DSM does sound and look amazing - kudos!

      I would love to check out that GSX in person. I too have a black 2Ga GSX eclipse and from Jersey. Although mine isn't this cool! I put up a video of it on my channel.

    Wow... That's a very clean 2G. More vids on it. As to the exhaust.. an HKS or Apexi mufflers would sound so sweet.. IMO

      They both suck compared to the STM SS 3" turbo back, more flow and light.

    100% ecmlink v3 for the dsm. Its the most easiest for tuning and most support for the platform. It has everything you could possibly want for a street car.

      @@turbotim9009 I'm not a fan of plastics anywhere. I mean except for the wheel wells and things along those lines of course. I think auto makers have overused it to be honest.

    Please more build content on the gsx if you can the quest for 350hp

  • @epoxeclipse
    @epoxeclipse 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Since you asked, You can go to a 16g turbo and run the stock ecu and stock 450cc injectors. You need to do a fuel pump re-wire and get the injectors cleaned and flow tested. Those mods will allow you to run the stock setup on a 16g to about 16lbs of boost* If you have ARP head studs. It is not recommended to exceed 14psi on factory head bolts because the head will lift. A 16g will flow more cfm at whatever given boost number.

  • @talondave
    @talondave 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Most 95s have a eprom ecu, send that ecu to ecmlink and have them socket it, and pick up v3link from them. Only ecu that car will ever need. My talon has been 8.56 @ 170 on ecmlink v3.

    Like the dsm content I got 95 gst 6 bolt eng holset. Still on dsmlink with an evolll 16g will get him mid 350 on pump gas or e85 bigger injectors can hit 400hp but with evolll 16g he needs at least 750cc injectors to get to mid 300hp and front mount intercooler as side mount runs out of steam .

    • @gregoryrobinson1004
      @gregoryrobinson1004 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Turning wise dsmlink is the way to go he will be ok on link v3 lite switch the car to speed density and it will run like a dream . Wide band 340 lph pump or 255 lph 750cc he will be set.

  • @NORBCREW
    @NORBCREW 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the dsm content! An mhi big 16g from extreme psi would be more than enough for 300whp. Just need a walbro 255 and bigger injectors (750cc and up) dsmlink v3 is still relevant but you could also do a simple re wire and hook up an evo 8 ecu, that way it’s cheaper, easier to come by, and more people will know their way around an evo ecu rather than an dsm ecu. Good luck and can’t wait to see what’s next!

    Amazing GSX! I am wrenching on a 96 right now. Needs a turbo, trying to stay semi stock, thinking of going a big t-28. What power is that car making? Looks like stock sidemount. So clean...

    What the did you start with? you know that DSM and or the SRT (later to be known as) team for chrysler designed the 1st mitsubishi eclipse and second gen. So all 1st gen and all 2nd gen cars are DSM. All of the 2nd gen cars were built in normal ill. Most if not all the parts were made in japan, but all of them were built for USDM in normal. (except the 420a chrysler block) It doesn't matter really because the cars were the DSM design children. If you really dig in and understand the DSM history you would know that the eclipse was mopar designed and that the same team that went on to become srt also created the viper.
