Some footage in this video is taken from at least one other channel/creator that I happen to be subscribed to (Julian Johnson-mortimer). But I don´t see any mention of that in the video or in the video description. It would be nice if you gave a shout out to the original creators of the pieces of footage you used. Otherwise good and interesting video! I love the sea reptiles of the Mesozoic.
Birds are descendants of non-avian dinosaurs so not all of them went extinct. Otherwise, this was a great video which has the best clips/graphics I’ve seen in a long time. Oh, and Spinosaurus actually was a dinosaur.

I enjoyed this except towards the end when the narrator decided 'The Cretaceous Era' was actually called the "Crustaceous" era. And then he pronounced 'Tertiary' as 'Terzziary', like some Italian dessert. I was laughing out loud - and he had done so well with all the other scientific names.
Most sciences act like they were there to the day and hour.....I like the video as it questions and relates hypothesis of how things could have developed over the ages. People won't acknowledge what happened 150 years ago when we have written accounts, but become professors and degree titles due to preaching how it could have been... And in 40 years what they preach will change into the new narrative. I love Science we do learn from best guesses. saying definitively how it was 200 million years ago its a far stretch of back seat driving .. science is not fairy tales so lets keep the hypothesis what it is...out best understandings......and we're still learning

Easily remedied, by a tweet or two of the voiceover ? Otherwise it sounds ridiculous.
There was NEVER a time when the oxygen level of the ocean went to 0, after true animals were around(larger multicellular life). POSSIBLY early on, before single celled life took hold, but probably not even then! I doubt there was EVER a time in the entire history of the earth, where the oxygen level of ANY body of water was at absolute 0!

I have a degree in Chemistry and I favor that the ocean is a giant buffer system and in Chemistry a Buffer system is one that resist changes in pH besides if such a thing were possible you would see a multitude of displacement reactions in the ocean.
Could you just imagine if chickens had little arms dangling down like this T-Rex had instead of having wings. Every time I hear birds are descendents of dinos, I think of chickens running around with little two 3 claw arms just dangling not doing anything but flapping around while it's running.

When we think of what alien creatures might look like, they live in the present day in the deepest parts of the oceans, cone jellyfish, with clear skin and bioluminescence, ironically, aliens probably resemble us in many ways, bipedal beings with eyes to see, arms, legs, or 4 legged, 6 or 8 legged beings, there's only so many ways to move and see, our imaginations can run wild, but I think they're very similar to Earth's creatures, present and past.
Even that does not take into account things like different mixes of oxygen or other gasses, or different levels of gravity. Not to mention how life may evolve on planets without any oxygen at all. Bacteria and viruses might dominate the landscape. Or some other chemical reaction could fuel life in a completely different way. We are only familiar with carbon based life forms. That is obviously a very successful formula, but it may not be the only one that works. After all, the universe is a really big place. I suggest we think outside of an Earth based view of how life might actually come into being. It may be that when we finally reach other planets life might exist on such a different time scale or chemical composition that we might not recognize it when we see it. So we might have to look extra hard.
Strange how the Earth has been burning hot to a frozen ball and everything in between, yet today people have to be blamed for the climate of today. Hooey.

The constant mispronouncing of Cretaceous, while funny at first, ultimately made the video unlistenable for me. Sorry, but unless I need material for a montage of content creators sabotaging their own efforts, I don't think I'll be coming back to this channel.

@@blackninja738 Yeah I know that there are wholes in finding final evolution proces etc etc, but I'm pretty sure those millions, billions years ago is probably a theory, I don't know if science will ever find out the real age of some parts of our planets, animals or even guessing the real age of remains after some old ass dinosaur. They can only guess that's how it is.
