I did train my children to sleep in the afternoon. The 1 year sleeps at 10 am and at 14:30pm. The afternoon one is longer. The 3 year old takes a nap at 14:30 too.
We do it fir them and for us toi. Being a parent is rewarding but at the same time it can be exhausting. We need time to reenergise so that we can be better parents. What i can say from experience is that tired parents can make the worst peraons to be around with.
