2. Aihole Inscription written by Ravikirti gives information about it.
3. Pulakeshin 2 died in 642 AD and Chalukyas fell to Pallavas in the same year.
4. Nalanda University was built by Kumaragupta I and later revived by Dharmpala.
5. Vikram Shila University was setup by Dharampala.

Rastrakutas lasted the longest among them.
Palas 9:32
Bihar,Bengal
8th-12th century
Founder-gopala,
After gopala dharmapala, then Dev pala.
Kannauj the most important city.
Pala rulers names.
Rampala-expanded assam, odisha. He was hero of Sanskrit poem- Ramacharita of sandhyakara.
Capital- mudgagiri(mungeyr now)
Supporter of buddhism.
(Also supported other dharmas)
Nalanda University: revived by Dharmapala(estd by kumaragupta)
Vikramshila:estd by Dharmapala
Cultural relations with Tibetian.
Arts and Architecture: Rock cave temple at kahalgaon,Medieval shiva temple of gaya.
