Mr Dave Sir, you are Doing an amazing Job, I feel supper blessed to have you and yes, you make Geo a very simple pie to eat. Thank you for your services.
last geo paper on Tuesday, I've been able to get 70s throughout the whole year thanks to these videos, last push for matric i I'll aim for the distinction this time around😇
What an incredible explanation. I was struggling to understand this topic as i couldn't visualize landforms in my mind properly, but now its crystal clear. Thanks a ton.
Hi sir, struggling with the formation of floodplains 😣 can you please give a quick explanation of its formation Could we associate it with the the result of rejuvenation or is floodplains only formed because of increased horizontal erosion in the lower course ?😯
Hi learner, thank you for the question. The floodplain will be associated with the lower course and when the river has got more energy (during floods, etc.) -so re-energising and the flat course. It is in the lower course therefore it is a flat open surface that is the plain. When the river comes down during a flood or extra volume to the river and it reaches a point where it overflows the river banks and goes onto this flat area, it will deposit it's sediments which is referred to as the flood plain. It is a fertile area which encourages farming. I hope this helps. All the best!
The best geography teacher 💯🔝
