I love this lifestyle! I've been saving up to be able to live like this one day soon. My close family tell me that I'm going too fast, like im reaching end game too soon, and disappearing. I feel like i'd rather work for myself and the people around me in the long run, not for somebody else, and doing what id love to do. I had doubts when they first said that, but ultimately right now I know this is the way for me. I can do anything and do the same things people can do that aren't off grid, I just have to put my mind to it and be able to be proud of it
I’m thoroughly enjoying your videos. I’m 77 and living rurally- gravity fed water from a creek , wood heat - I love it. Looking to start my garden beds for next spring. I see things you’re doing I can recreate for my half acre home. Thanks. ❤😊
Inside your van reminds me the "camping setup" in my Fiat Doblò (Ram Promaster City cargo van)... Nice! The freedom to camp wherever you want (even stealth in urban area) is priceless!

@@FrugalOffGrid my wife & I really enjoy your show - we just started learning how to propagate fruit trees and have a few cuttings that rooted (figs) and have been getting into gardening over this past summer- we'll send some fig cuttings and lemon seedlings in the spring - as we know this time of the year in N AZ is very very cold ....but again man keep up the great work & God bless- later bro ))

Daily chores which demand attention. I am also forced to live off-grid shortly. It is the only logical solution as the future approaches. It's not an easy life but it solves a problem. I'm in the process of getting my ducks in a row. Should be on my property early next year, and the monumental task of subsistence living begins!

I had about 50 jars of eggs but burned through them. Otherwise this fall I harvested mostly spaghetti squash. I just completed a root cellar a while back so I plan to fill it next fall. And hopefully sooner.

Cochise is the only county I know of that you can opt out of building code. But it's hotter down there. Anywhere in Northern AZ is similar climate to me. There are great places all over the U.S to homestead.

If you're entrepreneurial and enjoy the lifestyle, and willing to rough it at first. I don't see why you won't succeed.
It’s not easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. I’m blind and we have been out here a year now off grid in AZ. No regrets!

No, I worked for people all my life, it's not worth it. I have worked hard to work for myself.
I can relate to your words, I have spent most of my life doing for others. Had to retire to get free of it, now I try and do things for me.

I live in my van because it's allowed. I'm saving to build a small home that I can permit which will be allowed. Living in a shed is not allowed.
