One of the things that strikes me about NZ is just how clean the air is, the sky is so clear and sharp.
Very little in terms of air pollution compared to many places in Europe.
And the number of dedicated bus lanes is quite a lot.

There is nothing better in the world,
Than to wander friends around the world.
Those who are friends are not afraid of anxiety,
Any roads are dear to us

Very interesting seeing NZ buses another country that drives on the correct side of the road 😂
    Weather looks fantastic
    Engine sounds nice
Poor drivers have to suffer those beeps for the indicators
On new adl buses they are wired up to a speaker under the dashboard which on mist I’ve driven I’ve covered up with sticker

I had no idea that NZ used double deckers.
And I believe that BCI are in fact a bus and coach builder in that part of the world.

NZ also have Alexander Dennis Enviro500MMC too.
Finds BCI quite common in NZ, maybe their flexibility suits different needs for bus companies.

We have Enviro 500s, BCIs, Scanias, and electric CRRCs making up our fleets of DDs. They're only used on certain popular routes, but are a very common sight in the CBDs of Auckland and Wellington.
My understanding with BCI is that they build the buses in China, then assemble them in AU or NZ. Their designs are done in-house, including the chassis. The BCI DD is popular, but their single deckers are less common and usually intermingled among the far more popular Scanias and ADLs.

BCI double deckers are a lot more squarish and the insides particularly upstairs remind me an awful lot of how double deckers used to be in the UK.
