Another great video! Love them, thanks! Question: What happens when person A and B talks to eachother? Do they even hear the same words if they have a different belief filter? Regards
Oh, Eee-jg9cm, It is all you. Words are symbols. You interpret what other people say based on cultural norms of the language. You do not hear their words. You hear your interpretation of their words created inside of you. Does this help? You seem to be trying to justify your belief system concerning other people. Mike
Hello Mike! how nice to see a new video from you!😊 Considering the "Past" - to me it seems as if there is no Past that is gone...the event is gone but the next now- moment is already going on and on. All that we hold is our unique self created experience of the event that we call memory. This term Past implies that there is something real, something to touch... I guess that is the reason why we craete the future/ the next now- moment through holding on to the gone events/ past - believing it to be rock solid, real. I have to pause the video here and will watch the part about the new topic later.😊
Hi, foggy mountain witch, The Past is the lynchpin that holds the egoic world in place. All wars are fought because of what we believe happened in the past, which is a memory. It is not easy to understand “there is no past.” This is because of “cause-and-effect.” If I am unhappy (effect), there must be a cause, and that cause is you - you evil person. The term Past does implies that there is something tangible that we can be touched in the past. That there is something real that we can hold on to. However, when we try to grab it, there is nothing physical there, only memories of an event that is gone, never happened the way anyone thought it did, and will never happen again. We are in an unreal illusion - a simulation, a false world we create. Each creates our own world, which overlaps all the other worlds in many ways. Therefore, we believe there is only one world in which we live. The illusion cleverly hides the fact that there is no one world, and we live in a simulation of what never was or is. It is much like the movie The Matrix. You will never see it until you change your vision. Peace. Mike
@@mikefaff-livingintheillusi9636 I guess that wisdom is why tge budhist monks are always in a positiv mood…. They know there is no past and that everyone has his own, individual, unique truth- so ther is absolutly no reason to fight over it. Basically to do that is silly. We better go and sit wirh ourselfes and meditate for a new view on it….😊

Hi, TheJakeNeville, Hi, TheJakeNeville, One way is to connect with nature. This is a technique I learned some time ago. I call it walking meditation, but it's really not a meditation. It is an investigation. 1. Walk alone in nature with no one in earshot. If you have a dog, you can take the dog with you for support. 2. State your question out loud: Who am I really? Or any question you have. 3. Say out loud anything that comes into your mind. You must say everything that comes into your mind out loud. You need to hear yourself say it. Do not question it. Do not make fun of it. Do not answer it. Do not get into a conversation with it. Just listen to yourself say it. At first, it will not make any sense. If nothing comes to mind, state your question again. This could take some time. Then, you will notice a change in the timber and syntax of your self-talk. The ego always speaks first and for a long time. When you do not engage the ego, it will run out of things to say. Beneath the rhetoric of the ego will be the true self. When the ego quits and is quiet, there will be the still, small voice of who you really are. Listen carefully, pilgrim. The universe is talking to you. Peace. Mike
Wow i really love the way you’re explaining all of this. Especially the drawings help it be way more clear! And I find it ironic how sometimes spirituality and science are presented as opposite yet the greatest minds and greatest discoveries have come from people who knew EXACTLY what this “reality” is 🥸
THANK YOU MIKE....YOUR BRILLIANT AND KIND TO GIVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE

What methods would you recommend for finding out "who I really am?"

Hi, divinenonbinary,
I don’t think anyone really knows what reality is. At least here in the illusion.
