Please make sure to tell us the fix for the lack of interior illumination. I have somewhat similar issue on 1999 SL600. Very dim interior illumination everywhere, odometer lcd turns dim when interior illumination comes on. My headlight switch is bad so I'm hoping it will make a difference!
