Such an upbeat happy melody to a song about a girl locked up for years, painting memories of her father and birds that fly by, wishing she was free as well. Only to have a dream she was free, then wake up in the same chamber. She decides the next day she was going to fly.....take it how you want...true art.
I feel like a lot of people are digging the beat (and they should) but completely ignoring the story of these songs. I personally feel like people should be free to do what they want and not be pressured into doing things their family or friends want them to do (the unfortunate reality of the world). Encourage those around you, because you might inadvertently make them feel like their trapped.

i really recommend him, if you like "glitchy songs" you might wanna listen to his debut album "worlds", its EDM, so it gets crazier, and try to listen to "language" is another song that sounds like it belongs to worlds. my personal favorite from there is "natural light" that song doesnt fit the album itself, but its so unique and clean sounding, it transports you into another world. 99% recommend!
(little warning: if you check his live tours, he is a fan of EPILEPTIC visuals, like really really epileptic, so if you are epileptic, be careful!)

I saw them live in Atlanta, and they are just as bubbly and silly as you would imagine. But they they perform. OH MY GOD. perfectionists and really REALLY know how to put on a good show. Sarah got the whole audience dancing. it was AMAZING.

If we think of Time ‘n’ Place as something relative to Civilisation, there’s this internal dialogue versus the story of how she tells her experiences years later, and she goes on to talk about how she was a princess (maybe locked) up in her chamber, and this album is a little more abstract in general but I think there’s more underlying themes and storylines that connect back to Time ‘n’ Place (and probably other albums). Just a theory

conflicted about this song, not that it isn’t good, in fact it’s amazing and one of my favorites they’ve written and I can’t stop listening to it.
I just can’t help but feel bad for Sarah. I feel like she just wants to grow into herself and the pressures of remaining this symbol of innocence and child-like nostalgia for a big part of the fan base is really getting to her. I hope this song along with more from this upcoming release will help her sort out this dilemma.

Kero Kero Bonito is mainly known for their song I'd Rather Sleep but honestly, I feel like she has created WAY better songs like this! This song just reminds me of camp and just chilling when I'm supposed to be up and doing things. I used an MP3 player and that's how I listened to music. I'd just listen to this song and read Uzumaki by Junji Ito, Tbhk, or Spy x Family. Just reminds me of my happiest moments in life.
