OH MY I loved this sermon. Love that God elects those that He elects according to his own good purpose and plan. I don't understand why so many professing believers adamantly hate this doctrine and I have read some say that those who believe it are heretics. What? it is a most precious doctrinal truth . Thank you Pastor Jacob for such an incredible way to bringing this truth out. I have never heard it preached quite like this. Loved it and sent to several friends. thank you so much!
My biggest question with this portion of scripture is how it’s presented in the parable there’s an invitation and some except it and some don’t …..does that truly mean that those that reject it were never chosen …why would the invitation be given to those that were never chosen/elect? And then I also have a question about apostasy and backsliding. For the chosen/elite, These are just all questions. I am pressing to understand.
Not the Gospel, preached with no meekness, no love, no nuance, just angry dogmatism. It's cold and hopeless double predestination hyper-Calvinistic fatalism.
