As a regular person, I’m sure if I went into a sneaker store asking them to trade me something for some shoe laces they’d just laugh, but this is an interesting series but not something a regular person (without a following) can do.

I’m just saying it’s not realistic due to an average guy walking in and asking for the same things. But at least he’s giving away some shoes and getting content I guess! Most realistically POV of this series is Seth Fowler’s where he finds shoes in the thrift and tries to save money to get a sneaker collection.

I love the video idea but realistically it isn’t something a normal person could do at the rhythm you are going. You being a TH-camr influences a lot of what the stores are willing to trade knowing whatever it is they already gained a shoutout = future clients.

Literally thought the same thing. Under normal circumstances most people would never make most of these trades. Definitely recommend Seth Fowler’s video if you want to watch a legitimate come up video.

Even though you have an EXTREME advantage doing this... I still love watching these, because it's good content. It's interesting, whether I would be able to do it or not.
Same with Seth's "$20 Sneaker Collection" Series... Although his is definitely closer to something anybody can do, he IS still plugging his eBay Account/Shop in the Videos to hundreds of thousands of people who may actually be interested in a pair he cleaned up and tossed up for sale :shrug: It is what it is.
Still better content than most crap on TH-cam nowadays (Especially in the Sneaker space, which has slowed down A LOT it seems, I love seeing stuff like this). Keep it up Harrison!

I’ve never been a fan of this concept because people just trade because the person is famous. Nobody would take these trades if it was a random person coming in the store. Seems heavily biased and unrealistic. It’s just like the videos from sneakercon lol
difference is at sneakercon it is actually possible (not as huge jumps as this but def possible) a store only cares about value, have to pay rent and know things value so they wouldnt just trade something less value for more value if it wasnt because there was something in it for them (in this case advertising)
