Same feeling I am 70 years old and I head to the mountains where I live to get away from this chaos. I feel the mountains represent the power and beauty of God’s creation. I feel uplifted overlooking a valley from the top of a 4800 ft mountain thinking I am closer to God up here, peaceful and safer talking with God. When I drive back to town in the valley I can feel the tension, gripping the steering wheel harder as the noise gets louder. I don’t like that feeling I get and I have the urge to sell all I have and get back to the mountaintop. God used them many times in the Bible.
Wow! Exactly how I feel and me and one of my best buddies just arrived in the Colorado Rockies yesterday and had a great day today fly fishing for trout and plan to be here for over a week! The grandeur of the mountains speaks volumes to me regarding the enormity of God’s creation and always offers me a solid piece of mind to help combat with the stress that is affecting all of of right now all over the world. Moved to Colorado in 97 to escape Nazi Jersey. Many of my friends and acquaintances had been doing so for about 5 years prior. I lived in the mountains for 17 years. I even worked for a small gold mine and was in charge of blasting magazines( Explosives, boosters, det.chord, mil.sec. blast caps, etc.) and just about anything else I was asked to do; much of it brutal and monotonous. However, I felt grounded, connected and part of the mountain and the communities. Sadly, I see Corado turning into Commifornia. Our openly gay governor appointed 5 Communist Democrats to senate seats in order to try and push through gun laws that would pretty much shut down that industry in this state. They were not successful this time, but we know this blue communism will continue. Prices are soaring and we have South American gangs harassing and killing our Denver neighbors.
At this point I don't even feel like I live under this government, I feel like I am living within the kingdom of God and chasing after his will and his righteousness. Crazy place to be

That even the threat of suffering in a worldly way means less, is less scary than before due to his growing faith. The stronger your faith, the less human things mean to you. It's not just about suffering, though, as suffering is the last thing we'd feel before leaving this world. Chad also means that pleasure and the good things here on earth are falling flat as he gets closer to our God. My take, anyway.

I've heard Trump on other podcasts and he has done a better job. But when he spoke with Elon he pretty much did the same thing. Repeated himself over and over. Not sure if he was told to hammer certain points or not. But his off the cuff talks show a better side of him.
This is my first time commenting on any TH-cam video but I feel compelled to do so here. You are right-you are smarter than most people. But what you said about things of this world seeming dull resonated with me. As I grow in my relationship with Him the things I used to strive for feel empty. Last week I was given a substantial raise at work. I’m making more than I ever dreamed but I literally felt nothing. I actually began to feel like the enemy is using career, income, prestige to keep me off His plan for me. His presence is real. I received Christ in 2021 at 38 yrs old and I’m so grateful because nothing can satisfy the spirit but Him. No Thing can satisfy. God Bless.

But I agree, I think he's overcomplicating his opinion as he juxtaposed both candidates' ulterior intentions. Everyone always has ulterior intentions, but ultimately a leader (like that of a nation) directs people to follow a vision, whether for better good or evil. Understanding this, it's pretty easy to decide who to vote for as you rightly mentioned.

Same feeling I am 70 years old and I head to the mountains where I live to get away from this chaos. I feel the mountains represent the power and beauty of God’s creation. I feel uplifted overlooking a valley from the top of a 4800 ft mountain thinking I am closer to God up here, peaceful and safer talking with God. When I drive back to town in the valley I can feel the tension, gripping the steering wheel harder as the noise gets louder. I don’t like that feeling I get and I have the urge to sell all I have and get back to the mountaintop. God used them many times in the Bible.

Wow! Exactly how I feel and me and one of my best buddies just arrived in the Colorado Rockies yesterday and had a great day today fly fishing for trout and plan to be here for over a week! The grandeur of the mountains speaks volumes to me regarding the enormity of God’s creation and always offers me a solid piece of mind to help combat with the stress that is affecting all of of right now all over the world. Moved to Colorado in 97 to escape Nazi Jersey. Many of my friends and acquaintances had been doing so for about 5 years prior. I lived in the mountains for 17 years. I even worked for a small gold mine and was in charge of blasting magazines( Explosives, boosters, det.chord, mil.sec. blast caps, etc.) and just about anything else I was asked to do; much of it brutal and monotonous.
However, I felt grounded, connected and part of the mountain and the communities.
Sadly, I see Corado turning into Commifornia. Our openly gay governor appointed 5 Communist Democrats to senate seats in order to try and push through gun laws that would pretty much shut down that industry in this state. They were not successful this time, but we know this blue communism will continue.
Prices are soaring and we have South American gangs harassing and killing our Denver neighbors.
At this point I don't even feel like I live under this government, I feel like I am living within the kingdom of God and chasing after his will and his righteousness. Crazy place to be

That even the threat of suffering in a worldly way means less, is less scary than before due to his growing faith. The stronger your faith, the less human things mean to you. It's not just about suffering, though, as suffering is the last thing we'd feel before leaving this world. Chad also means that pleasure and the good things here on earth are falling flat as he gets closer to our God. My take, anyway.

I've heard Trump on other podcasts and he has done a better job. But when he spoke with Elon he pretty much did the same thing. Repeated himself over and over. Not sure if he was told to hammer certain points or not. But his off the cuff talks show a better side of him.

This is my first time commenting on any TH-cam video but I feel compelled to do so here. You are right-you are smarter than most people. But what you said about things of this world seeming dull resonated with me. As I grow in my relationship with Him the things I used to strive for feel empty. Last week I was given a substantial raise at work. I’m making more than I ever dreamed but I literally felt nothing. I actually began to feel like the enemy is using career, income, prestige to keep me off His plan for me. His presence is real. I received Christ in 2021 at 38 yrs old and I’m so grateful because nothing can satisfy the spirit but Him. No Thing can satisfy. God Bless.

Everyone always has ulterior intentions, but ultimately a leader (like that of a nation) directs people to follow a vision, whether for better good or evil. Understanding this, it's pretty easy to decide who to vote for as you rightly mentioned.
