The example of death is a flawed argument. Allah does use the angle of death to take the souls, yes, but that doesn’t mean we ask the angel of death himself for mercy or help during that time (since he’s the one actually taking the soul). Rather we ask Allah for that. The point here is this: When it comes to worship and things like providing sustenance, or things like taking our souls, we MUST believe that it is Allah only doing so. THE WAY Allah does these things, that’s up to HIM. That has nothing to do with us. Otherwise again, using your logic, it should be permissible to ask the angel of death of death by literally saying “Ya Izr’aeel Madadi or Ya Izr’aeel Have Marcy on me” - which NO ONE does - because it’s wrong and against the fitra and common sense.

Also it’s important to understand that the Qur’an itself EXPLICITLY DESIGNATES the angel of death to this task. IT’S MADE VERY CLEAR as you mentioned. Where is the one verse in the entire Qur’an that does this for any Imam? Where?

@Putler Jugend ⚡⚡ Read What Imam Ali (as) understood of waseela.
Nahjul balagha is very clear on this.

So by this, when I am in salah and making dua, do I ask for Hussain to provide me with what I want?

Listen, no one is forcing you. Remember that. The Ahlulbayt do not need you to mention them, rather it is a privilege for us to even mention their holy names. I guarantee you that if you did mention their names you will get what you want, if Allah pleases in doing so.

@Putler Jugend ⚡⚡ incorrect we send blessings on the ahlul bayt in both parts of our tashud. We don’t invoke slaves of Allaah who seek a means of access to Allaah themselves
