It's never appreciated how much talent, effort, and practice is required to sing those arpeggiating chords so quickly and accurately, absolutely insane

Apparently with more tv appearances and how popular pop singers got in the last century, people cared much more how singing 'looks" more often than not compared to before. For example the idea of 'smiling" when singing, in classical "bel canto" is more like vampire showing his upper teeth kinda expression. But "smiling" has become a more acceptable concept in teaching and singing.
