I cannot tell you how many times I’ve watched this. It’s probably one of my favorite skits ever because Melissa is so freakin funny. She’s the best host they’ve ever had.

That little hand gesture she does where she swoops her hand and grinds her fist on her palm as she says “pass the mash” is about the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. This woman is brilliance. “Dang it, Don, may I ‘proach the bench?” I don’t know how anyone kept a straight face during this skit.

A ton of what Melissa does is completely improvised. She adds so much it always makes the best sketches.
Melissa doesn't go by script. She just makes sht up as she goes, and it's fkn GOLDEN. She might follow some script, but I know for sure that most of this is improvised. She is so damn funny. I have rewatched her sketches many times, and still lmao every time.

I met her and all of my friends and i hung out with her and her friend at this underground club in LA after gay pride at like 3 a.m. on lsd, she was a trip but we all were trippi, we feed her and her friend all our coke, when we woke up in the morning and turned on the Tv the movie "brides maid's " was playing. We all started cracking up because we were hanging out with cheistin wig the whole time and didnt have a clue. I was wondering why sje was acting a lil weird, i think her and her friend thought we were funny because we didnt recognize her. Lol good times, gotta lobe gay pride in hollywood ;)

Been an loyal SNL for many years. As for hosts, I have seen many, Melissa by far is Most TALENTED and PROFESSIONAL (she never breaks character). Every sketch she does is worth watching again and again!
