I think dividing sets between licensed and unlicensed is already too granulated for a top 10. His “top 10” over $100 is really a top 20. If you granulate the list more, what is supposed to be a top 10 list becomes a top 40 list (top 10 licensed between $100 and $200, top 10 unlicensed between $100 and $200, top 10 licensed over $200, and top 10 unlicensed over $200). Basically every set gets a spot.
I think that more goes to show how good the “cheaper” sets are this year, plus the sets over $100 tend to be similar in quality compared to the other categories
My favourite Lego set of 2024 has to be 60409 Mobile Crane as its massive and its impressive in its operational position. Also 2024 is the first year I am back into Lego after 31 years of absence as the last time I did Lego was when I was 13 and I am now 44. Lego has improved considerably since 1993 and I am glad to be back. I have subbed to the channel as I have a lot to learn and catching up to do. Exciting times ahead. All the best, AP.
Got to give credits to the Dune set. It has a reasonable price considering how many minifigs you get and I've seen in it on sale several times under 120$.
There were plenty of sets in this price range I got this year. Of all of them, my favorites have to also be the Dune Ornithopter and Barad-dur (the latter being my favorite set for the year)
Dune Ornithopter and UCS Tie Interceptor are the only liscenced sets i got over $100 this year. out of those two Ornithopter is my favourite, and i cant really see anything else out that i would have over it (except maybe Barad Dûr, but that is way more expensive)
The D&D, Battle Bus/Peely Bone, Animated Series Gotham City, and Tie Interceptor had to be on the list. Honorable mentions for the Crafting Table and Onyx Cinder. The non-licensed list has to have Ninjago's Cole Mech and Source Motion Dragon.
For me, I would go:
1. Great Deku Tree
2. Dungeons and Dragons
3. Jaws
4. Endurance
5. Bared-Dur
6. Dune
I also love the Dark Falcon😎 such a amazing concept gets hate for absolutely no reason
There are a lot of $100-$200 sets compared to $200+. Should $200 or $300+ sets get their own category?

You do a phenomenal job with your top 10 videos. Not just the choices but your presentation
I have #1 and #2, but I haven't built them yet. However, I rate Notre Dame as the best set of the year.

My favourite is the D&D set.
Me too, it’s has all the things from a classic set I like, skeletons, dungeons, little hiding places.

Do an ultimate spinner tournament where you use all the spinners in order of release

Milano easily deserved to be on the list 😎 one of the best LEGO Marvel sets ever 🐐‼️

The Milano is an awesome set. I put 3 of the new dark blue Classic Space men as pilots.
