Apart from having their window glass removed, these vehicles appear to be in just as good a state as buses that are run by the big companies! I would really like to see SUV bangers- trendy ones, not ones like Land- Rovers.
Where can you buy cheap buses from? The only ones I have found have been £10,000 and up, anything of lower value apparently just goes straight for scrap.

Well... quite boring and unjustified to put big coach with little bus together. I feel like 3.5-7t trucks/vans are much faster, agile and usually framed so they take serious beating until they show damage yet there is much more action.
it's not like they try to make it a serious sport since they also cheat and do half laps a lot of the time and spend more time trying to wreck each other than going around

they are usually driven to the track as complete working buses, then stripped at the track, and broken up for scrap afterwards.

I thought scrapping had to be done in a specific place nowadays, to make sure diesel and lubricating oil were disposed of properly.
