That is awesome, and thank you so much. She is quite a handful as you are probably well aware, but she’s been a good dog so far. We’re looking forward to taking her on some hikes.

That fur blends in well with the snow, it's like a little snow camo outfit

OK, I'm always a sucker for a puppy video! We had dogs for over 35 years. Lolly is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! Congratulations on the new member of the family, and looking forward to seeing Lolly on the trail!

Well thank you so much! She is a little pain in the rear, but the crazy puppy stage is coming to an end and she's turning into a pretty sweet little girl. I am beyond excited to take her on her first backpacking trip this summer! Thanks for watching this one!!

Yeehaw, dogs are the best trail buddy's/hiking partners! I never go anywhere without Gus! Congrats! She is soooo adorable...

They have very thin coats. I’m sure you bought her many warm coats for her snowy days . My Dalmatian turns one next month!

They sure do! When we hike around in cold weather she has three layers of coats that she wears. Happy early birthday to yours! And congratulations on surviving year one 😂

My mom and I just finished watching this video. Lolly is so cute! She looks like a Lolly. 😊 What a gorgeous coat! It is great that you have a fenced in area in the backyard. That will keep her safe from any 4-legged predators. Looks like she enjoys driving the tractor! The scene when she saw her reflection in the sliding doors was priceless. Your home must seem gigantic to her! It cracked us up when she tackled the camera outside. She could play middle linebacker for the Bears. 😊
She will require some work and some patience, but in the end it will absolutely be worth it. Can't wait to see her on your hiking trips and in future videos!
Is this your first dog? We have had several, but don't have one right now. We are waiting to get our next dog until we get out there. It will be easier when we move. When I asked my mom to come with me to Idaho, she said yes, but she said only if she can get a Mastiff. The first thing I said to her was, are you sure you mean a Mastiff because of their size, and she absolutely knew all about the dog. Which is funny because the dog will weigh more than my mom. 😊 So, if you know of any good Bull or English Mastiff breeders out there, let me know!
We are both happy for you and Tess. Lolly is a great addition to the family and will bring endless joy to you both. Can't wait to see her in your next videos and watch her grow up!
    Stay safe and be well!

Thank you Sir! She was named after my grandmother whom I never met.. but her name was Doloria, but everyone called her Lolly. She has been a great pup (for the most part) so far and she has already gotten so much bigger from when you commented on this 11 days ago! Haha yeah she's a goof.. and the bigger she gets the more things she wants to tackle! She is most definitely taking some work, and I'd be lying if I said my patience wasn't running thin from time to time, but it'll definitely be worth it in the end.
I grew up with a dog (Zoe the Airedale Terrier), and trained her from a pup, but when I moved out of my parents house she stayed behind with them. She was a fantastic pup, but she passed last year.. that's always the worst part with dogs! Lolly is definitely our first, and she is definitely testing us. Haha that is awesome though! A Mastiff will be an awesome edition to your North Idaho homestead, and I'm sure you guys will be thrilled with that decision. If I head of any good breeders I'll let ya know!
Thanks as always for the comment!! Cheers to you and your mom.
      Danny.

@@DannyJSchaefer Great way to honor your grandmother for sure!
Hehehehe, yes puppies will try your patience. We mostly had Dobermans in the past. Very loyal and protective. We will probably get another one of those as well. We are also considering a Rott. These are all great breeds in my opinion, not like they are portrayed in the movies. There are some knuckle-headed owners out there, but that goes with any breed.
Has she started chewing on things yet? I must admit, that is the thing that drives me crazy, and I am not looking forward to that! When they are young, they do not know the difference between a chew toy and a table leg. ☹
That is a whole other expense of owning a dog that some people don’t consider. Also, since you have hardwood floors, you may want to consider keeping her nails trimmed or getting some throw rugs or runners in the house. Otherwise, you may get some scratches on the floor and those aren’t very fun to remove.
All that aside, those are minor compared to all the joy she will bring you!!!
      Be safe and stay well!!!

Cute dog. I wonder if she bites peoples sleeves, pants, socks or shoes when they walk around ?

Aha you can almost bet that she did! She's just about eight months old now so thankfully we're past that stage, but at heart she is 100% still a puppy. Thanks so much for watching Jay!

Yep, they all throw up in the cage when you bring him home they can't handle the car ride. Their inner ear is not adjusted yet been through that several times😊😊😊

Ahh makes perfect sense!! Thankfully that was the one and only time that that's happened 😊

@DannyJSchaefer It gets better, so som get over quicker than others. It's over with within the first year Usually.... sometimes it takes a little longer than a year.... usually it's pretty quick
