Interesting discussion as always. As a former owner of 6 comic shops in UK in the late 90s, no-one was ever impressed with 'multi universe crossovers'! All X-Men fans ever wanted was entertaining stories using the characters they love. Absolutely no-one ever asked for ten different X Books. Ever. The same as Batman and Spider-Man fans. Just good stories told well. Nuff Said!!
