Sometimes you have to have a bad race to really appreciate the good ones. That looked like a tough course and never under estimate the effect heat has on you this early into the summer. I am adjusting to it as well as we get temps from the low 70s in the morning to 90 to 100f in the evenings. All things considered your time was good. Cool video and thanks for taking me along.
Thank you so much for the kind words and the weather will definitely take some getting used to 😂 we are so pleased you could watch along 😊😊 I hope your training is going well 🙌
Top running, Ryan. Looked a tough course in spicy conditions! Interesting seeing the pace chart as you progress. you go up 8% inclines faster than I'd come down them! #levels
I'm from the Gold Coast Australia and what we call hot is 35 degrees. What is your hot? Glad to see you run at my pace 4.22, even though you were going uphill.🤣
Haha yeah from the UK I think we are pretty tragic 😂 I'd say anything over 20 degrees is too warm to run in 😂 only a tad different, thank you so much for watching 👏👏👏
The first and only time I’ll probably be anywhere near you. Weedon is a great race, always one of the highlights for me. Corby is TOUGH! See you tomorrow 😂😉.
Well done Ryan, tough but nice rural course.. summer races can be warm but it makes for better evening atmosphere 😎👍 I recognise some names in the top 10.. chuffed to see my fellow Duathlete Phil Melling get the win.. his first in the league. 😁👍👏
Thank you 👊 it's definitely a nice atmosphere but mainly for the spectators 😂 I like a cool 10 degrees with light drizzle 😂 yeah this league seems to have a different breed of runner in it so I'm definitely getting out through my paces 😂 thank you for watching 🔥
You still ran well, though. It's never nice when people come past you in the final few k. But it's another race done. the body will get better with racing in the heat after this one. Roll up the sleeve and go again. Was that your mum in the video again? In race kit but not racing???? Lol
Haha it was her indeed 😂 she was just wearing it for a little jog whilst I ran the race, you went to around 3/4k to take photos 📸 yeah I guess it's something to learn from and at least it's another race ticked off and at least in this one there was actually a water station mid way 😂
its a very honest course but the heat there that night was horrible. probably the hardest race of my life...i stopped at 2km and jogged it in. I would love to do that course in the winter as its a proper course
Yeah it's definitely not an easy course that's for sure 😅 will you be racing tonight as that's also meant to be a toughy 😅 sounds like you made the right decision to take it easy as it's definitely one of those evenings where problems could of occurred being in full sun the whole time, thank you for watching 👊🔥
If this is what a bad run looks like, I'd snap your hand off for it 🤣Just shows how far you've come mate. You're such an active racer, you can't PB them all. Excellent shift, well done!
Thank you so much for watching, definitely found that one tough, just didn't have a second gear when I started getting overtaken in the second half 😂🤦♂️
Nice video Ryan, I wouldn’t regard 37 minutes as a disaster😂 Most people would be delighted to do sub-40 in the heat. Who was that guy who flew past at the end? These older runners, still super competitive💪💪😊Great graphics, nasty hill from 4K😩
Yeah the MV45 is normally a very competitive category in these races 😅 thank you for watching ☺️👊 it was a tad hillier than expected haha, your video is currently on the treadmill 🤫🤫👀
Hard work that one but well done in the heat, Ryan.
Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad that ones over that's for sure 😂😂 onto the next one 🔥🔥

👏 well done, it’s a tough course and it’s easy to flatline following those hills!
Thank you for watching 🙌👏 you're having a really strong last half of the series 👊👊
@@raleyadventures cheers matey , I just go out and hope to be quicker than last year it’s really competitive!

😅😅😂😂 that's some stat knowledge, thank you for taking the time to watch along 🙌☺️☺️
I wouldnt have even put this video out with that rubbish time 😜🤣 That hill looked brutal 🙈
The cheek 😂😂😂 haha yeah I'm defo not booking that one again in a hurry that's for sure 😂
Nice video as always. Still a great run, nothing we can do about the heat, all the best for Corby 😊
Thank you 😅 I've heard it's also a toughy 😂

Same here in South Africa. One do go signifantly slower at 35 degrees though.
That sounds too warm for walking in let alone running 😅😅😂
Still brilliant racing Ryan. There shouldn’t be any problems with racing in today’s temperature 🌧️ 🥶 Maybe that’s summer over with already 😱
Haha definitely my kind of weather for tonight's race 😂 thank you for watching 🔥🔥🙌

See you tomorrow 😂😉.
Well you could be beating me tomorrow who knows 🤷♂️😂 many people have been saying 🙄😂 thank you for watching 👊👊

I feel your pain as not good at running in the heat either. Well done still a great effort
Thank you so much for watching, this series definitely has some tough races in it but it'll only make me stronger for the flat ones 🔥🔥
That looked a bizarre finish area in a cul-de-sac. I love warm weather racing as it's an extra element to think through when racing rivals.
Haha least that's one of us 😂 I'm one of those people where the worse it is, the more I like it 😂 thank you so much for watching 🙌🙌🔥
Superb video and difficult course albeit very picturesque. Solid hill training, take it as that! 👊
Haha yeah I guess I just have to take it on the chin to prepare me for the next race 👊🙌🙌 thank you for watching

Most of us would love to have a "bad run" like that! Well done in the heat and hills.
Thank you so much, maybe I should of subbed you in to do this race 😂 you are the one I always look at for hill climbing 🎉
Still a good race bud
