Hi Malaikah firstly i agree with everything you said in this video. Secondly can you do a video on how to make a propet trading plan as many people like myself rush the process. Also DONT FORGET guys 92% off ftmo challeneges are failed. I was 1 of them too. What i can say is make sure your strategy is working and use the full 30 days dont rush it. Remeber your drawdown is also counted in the daily and overall loss so make sure to take trades with proper risk.

I'm not sure at the point when you took the challenge if there was a swing account option but now there is - if you choose that option, you can then hold your positions over the weekend instead.
That's my problem with them, the challenge and verification is one way while the real account is another, if u're a swing trader then the challenge and verification u'll pass but once the real account show up well u're screwed cuz u can't hold trade for 9-7 days.

I did the ftmo challenge and would have passed it if I was sure on how much I could have a loss on an open trade. I did the 50000 dollar one. I thought I had room for 5000 but it was 2500. I was confused from aggressive and normal risk. I believe I can pass it doing that way using a smaller lot for risk management. I would have passed in 3 days. How many times should I pass the ftmo demo to be safe before doing the actual challenge
I lost verification exactly because of what you just said " Don't get over confident" it looks like the 5% should be easier, but the longer you wait the faster you want to pass it already, you tend to think that this particular trade gonna be the 1st and last which will let you pass, but it's not the case , more often than not, people will lose because of over confidence and over trading too.

Yes, you do the challenge and verification and then once you have your funded account you can withdraw 1 month after which is on your profit split date.
Can you make a seperate video of the FTMO's spreads? I don't know, I tried the Free trial which they given and The spreads there is pretty low like 2 - 14. That's pretty common if you ask me.
The spreads were insane! My spread went from 10 to 244pips!!!!! Insane. I honestly felt like it was a glitch and i actually feel like this is one of the ways they take out traders. And i was so careful so much so that i actually watched the daily close hour spread for the pairs i was planning to trade 2-3days ahead of actually placing the trades and they have never ever gone that huge. I immediately emailed them after capturing screenshots of the change in spread but they simply refused saying those spreads were "normal". 200pip jump was normal??? It took out my max drawdown so easily. If the spreads had been consistent during market close hours like the last 3days i had recorded it it would have not taken out max drawdown. I feel genuinely that this is a way they manipulate the traders applying for the challenge.

Hi Malaikah, I wanted to ask, you said you can't close or open positions 2 minutes before or after specified news events restricted by FTMO. But, you can keep your current positions in through these events as long as you've closed them all before close of market Friday?
LMAX spreads are quite low usually as I have seen but during new candle stick hours on the daily I've encountered 20-30pip spreads on crosspairs which was odd.
@@Malaikah 20-30pip spread sounds like the normal that theirs go up during market close hours but i had an insane 244pip jump. And they simply said it was spread during marlet close

Everyone should be using a spread size indicator on their chart. It's definitely important to know the current spread before taking a trade.

Trade with CMC Markets, spreads are less than 1 pip on all majors, FTMO allows you to use them from what I see on their site

Over confidence is a killer, always got to remain humble infront of the markets or it will end up humbling you.

You can also have the SWING account with allows you to hold over the weekend and trade news

ftmo ises LMAX as the default so you need to look up lmax spreads
