I can't figure out how to play this riff without the unused strings resonating. Since you've gotta bar the 4th fret, all them other strings are ringing when I palm mute the lowest strings. Is there a trick to it? Great cover by the way! ESP guitar buddies, lol.
take a look at her right hand. she lifts her hand for these 5p4 and 7p4 notes. Between these, she puts her hand back down, muting the string that shouldnt ring. Takes a bit of practice, but if you look at live vids of bfmv, they do the same technique

Same problem, I guess its all just technique. Like sweep picking, you mute each string as you move to the next one.
I wish I had an ESP. ;__;
All I have is a strat and a cheap Mitchell that looks like an ESP. xD
At least you don't have to pay off $3,000 for a guitar! Lol
