Hmmm... Probably the best size to space ratio on the trombone case market. Looks about the same size as a Bonna lightweight single tenor case yet holds two horns... I just don't know how stable those instruments really are despite what the salesman says... Seems like a lot could go wrong inside the case if it were handled roughly.
I own the marcus bonna double alto tenor, the tank alto tenor and the alto tenor of this video. None of them is perfect, but the superbags is the worst one. The marcus bonna is incredibly nice and compact and gives some real protection, even though not from heavy hits, and is completely lacking a mating extrusion of the lid. The Tank case would be perfect IF they made it a few inches shorter (measuring actually for alto and tenor and not using the double tenor dimensions) in order to make it pass under normal luggage dimensions (it is EXTREMELY light for a case that big), and they could use some more bolts instead of rivets, could make it easier the wheel replacement. I use it to check in the trombones, really good....but I have to pay extra for the dimensions in the companies who have the linear cm limit. The superbags one (bags of spain) is really bad....more than 300 euro, and the instruments doesn't seem to fit inside, if not with EXTREME contact...one small hit and something gets damaged....and I won't even start to speak about the mouthpieces poaches....useless at best, dangerous generally....absolutely to avoid....I bought one only because I was around with the tank that is huge to bring back and forth from the hotel to the theater....and I left it at the hotel, not even worth the shipping back home.
