On the reflection questions: You erased the startups and the vlan database then reloaded all switches.
Wouldn’t all devices receive since all ports are now on the default VLAN 1?
Also why did every device drop the packet when you ran through the simulation?

For some reason, after the reload step and fast-forwarding, the Switch lights on F0/1 on S2 and F0/3 on S3 became orange for me, and the Switches will not forward PDUs out all ports. Also, the hostname of each Switch reverted to "Switch". I used the "erase startup-config" commands and the "delete flash:/vlan.dat" commands.. I think similar to you. Do you know what I did wrong and how I can fix this? Thank you! =)

same issue. ports from switch 1 & 2 do not reconnect after reload (the solution is to reload it again)
