I have the Yaris Cross, which has adaptive cruise control. I'm not sure if it has Pedal Misoperation Control as well, but I agree that it shares some of Veloz' DNA such that it is built within the same platform AFAIK. Interesting that it's similar in more ways than one. It all boils down to preference in passenger capacity and priority.

Hi, Sir. Masama po ata lagyan ng coins (or kahit keys, watch, etc.) ang wireless chargers. Yung ibang brands yun ang sabi sa instruction manuals.
Saw someone sa NLEX na naka Veloz pero pinalitan niya yung mags ng blacked out 16" I think tapos chunkier AT tires. Looks good actually.

That's the norm po sa newer cars. Malambot na yung sheet metal pero yung Ilalim yung structure is strong meta which is the Safety cage. Purpose is the Crumple zone. That absorbs the energy of Collisions to lessen the impact force sa interior and less injuries sa passengers. And pedestrian in case accident.
Thats what i have read sa mga forums. Kaya pala mataas ang rating ni veloz sa safety. :)
But I don’t think it should be that thin and flimsy. I feel like that crumple zone thing is super overused as an excuse for bad quality of materials used for a vehicle, like come on the roof shouldn’t be that thin and soft what if you suddenly rollover will that thin roof save you? I don’t think so. It is just cost cutting at the end of the day.

Para sakin bro, pinakadown side ni Veloz is yung absence of front defogger and NVH. Yun lang. Kahit nakaset sa low temp nag f-fog parin sa windshield. Yung 190mm and ung tagtag is sufficient na sakin dahil yung mga previous cars ko naka 0 finger gap 😅

Ang ground clearance kaya sa mga humps, di kaya sasayad lalo na 7 passengers ang karga?
Just like Toyota Raize Peak in Japan, it seems like Toyota Veloz Peak is in Malaysia. Unfortunately, knowing Philippines taxation, ganon talaga, wala kang magawa, the features would be removed for the betterment of the price and for the people using the car. 6 month old review but you are spot on in the weakness of this car.
Also, just some advice, don't use Ai generated Images, it doesn't.... look good, better to video you putting a pillow on top as reference of the soft roof. regardless, great review, still needs some Improvements, if you want references, take paco for one, autodeal reviews don't use still images as refence, they always use a video.
How about the nvh bro? They say the road noise creeps inside the car during high speed or Is it tolerable and not bothersome ?
Tolerable naman. Di siya issue sakin. nakailang long ride na din and drove 100-120 speed. pero worth noting na lagi akong naka radio/spotify... and also ang comparison ko lang is yung isa pang kotse na minamaneho ko, Fortuner 2016.

Basta flat back (SUVs) dumihin, kasi merong negative air pressure lalo pag high speeds kaya yung road film "umiikot" lang sa likod ng kotse at didikit sa panels.

I really enjoyed your review. I will be buying a new car next year and the Veloz is on my list because the price is right, That said, I don't think I can get over the lack of cruise control. Why they decided to forgo it is beyond me. Here's hoping they decide to add it to next year's model. Otherwise, I will buy something else.

Very much tolerable ang noise, and vibrations. Tulog mga pasahero ko, even while driving at 100-120 speed.
dun lang talaga sa malubak, noticable/ramdam ang “tagtag”, pero reasonable naman. :)
You can reduce noise by using quieter tires and adding some more insulation. However, posts/comments claiming that it has awful NVH are exaggerated. You know a car's got some NVH issues when the reviewer has to shout while driving (because of the noise).

May instance ba na parang sumayad i.e alanganing parking, di pantay na aspalto from gasoline statopn? Para kasing pang passenger ung clearance. Sobrang ganda sana kung itinaas nila kahit malapit sa innova or ung avanza man lang na height.
Di pa sumasayad sakin. In Almost 4k odo. :) and bumyahe na ako ng nueva ecija na pagka lubak lubak. So far so good. Pero i agree with you na mas maganda kung itinaas pa heheh kahit sana 200mm
Cruise Control is not needed in the Philippines. Expressway is not really an expressway compared here in the US.

Havent tried other brand or a different octane. I have always used Shell V-Power. Kasi yun madaming good feedback sa mga veloz fb group, regarding fuel efficiency, tsaka responsiveness ng throttle. :)

Sana talaga 205/55 yung tires na nilagay nila sa veloz. Increased groud clearance saka medyo awkward tignan yung maliit gulong compared sa size ng katawan.
Sana nga, and ilan na din nagsabi sakin na ipa check ko tire pressure kasi mukhang flat. Kahit kakahangin ko lng 😅

Ganda din talaga ni veloz,the 1M peso segment is very tight, so many good options. Tanong lang,pag bintawan m b ung steering wheel may alert din sa screen at alarm?
BTW adaptive cruise control doesnt rely on cameras,it relies on radar sensors,while lane departure relies on cameras.
There were scenarios na binitawan ko steering wheel, pero walang alarm and alert. So maybe there is none.
Ohhh i thought the adaptive cruise control would rely on the sensor in the windshield, and the camera in front. I guess its missing some parts to make it work.. thanks for this comment.

Sna may maka-crack ng drl, i mean to convert the park light to drl. Yayaman cya sa dami na ng veloz ngayon. :)

How about the one direction airflow front air vents, vibrating hood and headlights , bumpy suspension and absence of under engine cover?
Vibrating hood and headlights? Isnt that normal? Havent noticed any excessive or annoying vibrations there so far.
Suspension may be bumpy, not an issue for me because i am used to it, since my previous driving experience is toyota fortuner 2015.
Forgot to mention the under engine cover though.
