I think my best cat ever was a korat..they said english/russian blue but he didn't really have the face. He would walk by my side without a leash, drink beer, and prank me. Got him from a shelter. Coolest cat ever.
Love my korat so much. Just stares at me and meows for no reason. They're so loyal and attention-seeking, and completely jealous of anything that comes between you and them 😂

There are many cats here that are not real Korat cats. A genuine Korat cat must have the same color, all without white or other colored spots. i am from thailand
I actually believe that Russian blue cats are originated from Korat cat because King Chulalongkorn of Siam was a good friend to czar Nicholas I of Russia and their royal families had close friendships. Moreover the Russian blues became world-widely known just lately after czar Nicholas I's reign.

Anyone wondering if their cat is a Korat or a Russian Blue, look no further than the nose ; a Korat nose turns up a bit at the end, so there is a curve down the forehead to the end of the nose, a Russian Blue has a perfectly straight line down from the brow to the tip of the nose, no up curve at the end.

This SO crazy to watch. My Korat (Loki by name) doesn't make a sound...............EVER. She's on the desk at this very moment trying to figure out why her cousins are making such a fuss. You should see the way she's looking at the screen. LOL
Adorable cat, almost identical to mine. I never knew the name of the breed(it was gifted) , and I thought it might be a Russian blue, but seeing this video it’s identical to mine, body shape and all. Does your cat have a pedigree, as in are you sure it is a Korat, pardon my ignorance.

The nose is Korat since it curves inward. Russian blue have a wedge nose that slops straight.
