So glad that I found this. I saw him in a show with Louise Bennett in Toronto. Being a Trini, I did not understand half of what she was saying and I wouldn't be surprised that the Jamaicans did not understand his jokes because they weren't as loud as when Louise was giving her jokes. But that was a long time ago when there weren't many Caribbean people living here.

I just read that he was born in Trinidad but spent his early days in Grenada. I always thought that he was a Grenadian.
