I’m pretty sure cool hockey just puts all the jerseys they can’t sell in the mystery boxes. I think they just send you a good one to promote them on TH-cam. Just a theory
Sure its fun play the jersey lotery, but at 150$ the value is gone,especially when there are multiple sites where you can just buy a primegreen jersey of the team you want for cheaper. Hard pass for me this cycle.
The “reversible” gimmick just doesn’t work. It just looks like an inside out jersey. The stitching on the stripes, the “tags” on the neck and of course that absurd fight strap tail.
I’ll be honest, these were a better deal in the past. 150 bucks is getting steep for a jersey I might not like, I get it. That’s the fun of it but a lot more fun at 100 bucks Canadian. Also, it’s already sold out. I think I’ll give up on these things lol
I got 4 mystery boxes from cool hockey I am so happy. 1st 2 was normal Rangers 2nd one was Stars Seguin score 50% then next 2 I got was Vegas Theodore and Penguins Malkin I'm so happy 100% on the other 2 so 3 out of 4 very very happy

I literally said in the video "I wonder if they hooked me up". I also marked the video as paid promotion. Regardless if they did or didn't, the 50% stitched and 90% primegreen are pretty good odds.
150 is not too much for someone that doesn’t care what team they get. That same jersey sells for like 250 dollars especially hand stitched and it being Auston Matthews. It’s cheaper because there’s a chance you get a dud, but that’s the gamble you’re taking by purchasing the “mystery box”

Woke up early to try to get one. Been refreshing the website for almost 40 minutes now and still looks like they aren't live. If they are gonna joke about them being cancelled they may want to actually sell some so people don't start to believe it. Anyway they lost my sale
its $175 this time... that is crazy... past ones have been $100-$125, if it was 100% Primegreen I could somewhat justify it... but some poor schmuck is going to get a "Climalite" blank and I just know that schmuck is going to be me. I honestly thought the price was an April fools joke at first.

@@Post2PostProductions With my luck I'd get a hideous jersey like that Bieber inspired Maple Leafs, Dallas Stars black/neon green 3rd, Edmonton Oilers dark blue/orange 3rd, or the Calgary Flames 'Blasty', or black flaming C, etc, etc. I'd just assume pay the extra $$$ and get what I want to avoid the frustration.

Being 6'5" I wear size 60 and noticed that there were some of these left in size 60 - Toronto Adidas blank home and away - Vancouver Adidas blank home and away - Ottawa Adidas blank away (the new 2D - not that crappy/goofy 3D jersey) available...I told them that for the 'Mystery Box' price I'd take any one of those - they pick what they send and I'd be happy. Not surprising - they turned my offer down.

Bait and switch selling occurs when a product is advertised at a bargain price, but is not available for sale…” - Competition Bureau of Canada. And no, there is no “April’s Fools” exemption
I completely agree that their April Fools joke about the Mystery Box being cancelled was an incredibly poor decision from a marketing and brand perspective. April Fools jokes are supposed to be funny, not cause people to be frustrated or angry. I will 100% be reiterating this back to them directly during my next conversation with them.

I think mystery boxes are just the jerseys Cool hockey can’t sell or has to much of in production , just judging by the many Vegas golden knight jerseys, and now the new Toronto alternative because it’s likely won’t sell well :/ …. Also I can’t do the mystery box because I’d hate my self so much if I opened the box and saw a maple leafs jersey 🤮 and especially this one😅, love the content tho Neil keep up the great work!!
Because JB made this design I think the reverse side is supposed to look reversed. As in it's supposed to look a bit ugly considering that's kinda where the influencer style is right now

Agreed...The chances of getting 1 of these shitty 3rd jersey's is far too likely for my tastes...Just pay the extra and get what ya want.
I have considered getting one of these for a long time, but being a Habs fan the thought of getting a Leafs or Bruins jersey keeps me away lol.
