What was it that you threw in there for that? Tilapia, we actually have some of those here in North Texas at a power plant and I might like to catch a couple

I caught the bass on a piece of bread. It was tough to get the tilapia because there were just so many little bream and bass that would hit the bait first. I ended up getting it to eat a lizard. It was 17" and probably close to 4 lbs. Cool fish for sure

The beautiful part about tilapia and other invasive cichlids is that theyre all delicious fish. Only thing i look out for is make sure the pond isnt down stream of a golf couse or deeded community, that gets hosed with fertilizer and pesticides.
They like cherry poptarts, hard to keep it on the hook though.

@@Bartimusblue27 lol I am actually a landscape irrigation specialist. I know all too well about the chemicals and what they can do. The place here that is a power plant has a ton of them and the tilapia mafia catch quite a few. It is amazing how big their little crater beds are
