i saw this stove on Emergency Essentials .I wonder if the creator of this stove is the same person who invented the VESTA Self-Powered Indoor Space Heater & Stove by InstaFire with Canned Heat?
I wonder if you could put a couple of 12x12 tiles or stones in a large sheet metal baking pan under it? Just make sure it sits flat. The stones will heat as the oven works, and will radiate that heat back out for radiant warmth, when it's cold. It's an added layer of protection against the surface under the oven, as well.
That is a good solution. I kept my daughters Easy Bake oven for emergencies, as I can run that off my solar and solar generator in a grid down or SHTF situation.

@@pattiannepascual I wish I knew. It was years ago. I have looked, the closest one I seen was at Bass Pro about three years ago. It was in the camping section. They probably still sell them.
I've got an oven that sits on top of the 2 burner propane camp stove. Not a full size oven, more comparable to a toaster oven size. I bought it from Amazon.
No longer exists. The coleman "camping oven" that exists now won't get over 300 degrees and you can't cook anything in it, only reheat. I know from experience. I bought one for my SCA camp kitchen, and it turned out to be a complete waste of money.

I love my Vesta heater, and this InstaFire Ember would be awesome to add to my preps. I could help warm my sunroom and bake. How COOL!!! I love this - gotta have it. Being able to use it outdoors with sticks - AMAZING!!! This video is much appreciated; thank you.
As an added note, I would suggest that if you are using charcoal, that you use natural charcoal ONLY, and not the pressed briquettes that have petroleum binders to help them burn quickly ... You probably don't want to be eating a meal that tastes like licking the gas pump !!!
Good review, and I like Jonathan and Kylene emphasizing safety with fire, especially indoors. The Ember looks like a good indoor option, especially for small families that store gel alcohol fuel. I wish Kylene had shown how her small baked item turned out, evenly cooked or not, and how it compared to full size oven results with more controlled heating, and how long it took. Like bake 2 loaves of bread, one in the conventional oven and one in the Ember and show them side by side. It would have been truly awesome to compare the Ember to the Omnia Oven which also works indoors on any kind of burner, including liquid alcohol, or to a Dutch oven, or to a traditional outdoor camping oven like the Coleman, or golly, all of them.. It also looks small, like a toaster oven, so what is the largest pan that fits? Can you bake a round 2 pan cake? Roast a whole chicken? It doesn't look like it.
The inside of the oven is right at 8 x 11 - so you will only get one loaf at a time - we had to decide how big to make it being portable like it is. You will love it.
I totally should have done that. It sounds like I need to make another video. It bakes surprisingly evenly. I was shocked. I have the propane Coleman oven and that always is dark on one side. Konel did a great job with this design.
It's great that you think about the safety aspect and potential for fire getting out of control ... This being said, may I suggest that you look into a couple of "fire blankets" that can quickly extinguish any fire (including a grease fire on the stove eg) because simply placing the blanket over the fire will cut off the oxygen .. better than a fire extinguisher, because you won't ruin your kitchen with chemicals, and no worries about being outdated and insufficient to take care of the fire !!! Fire blankets are inexpensive and I would bet that your local fire department would be happy to give a demonstration etc !!!
@@herbhoffmannbeck7584 Those fire blankets can shed fiberglass though which is less than ideal. I picked up an Element Fire Extinguisher for in the kitchen. It won't ruin your kitchen and is safe to breathe. They're just a bit pricey.
My budget is on life support, but I've just left the InstaFire site after ordering this gem! I had seen this in an email only a few days ago, but couldn't see how things (primarily bread, etc.) would be able to brown on the bottom. Konel explained that well, so I'll be receiving the oven soon :) Order total was $10 less than MPS using the discount code. THANKS!
Oh my. This is just excellent!!!! Love it! So far I have a mini grill that uses charcoal; a small grate to put over a camp fire with a sm pot; some bricks, wire rack and a bunch of tea lights to warm up some water or food (low tech); all the makings for a rocket stove; a mini butane burner (outside); some can heat but really no way to use them in controlled fashion indoors. This will be a great item to round out the handful of items I have for alternate cooking. Love it! Thx for sharing! ❤❤❤. Ps and I have a new carbon monoxide detector to use for any of the above items for safety. Will cook outdoors for everything and the ember will give me an inside choice. Yay!
I just looked up the price of Canned Heat the cheapest I found was $2.97 and you need two of them so that's about $6 plus tax and they only run for approximately 2 hours so it's going to cost you $6 every time you want to bake something in that oven. And don't forget that's not all cooking time with those cans because you have to preheat this with that same can that you have to cook with with a 2-hour run time. And when the stores run out of that fuel there goes that option. I wish they would have spent more time on being able to use sticks and small kindling to run this so you don't have to purchase stuff at the store to be able to use it.
In winter, using canned heat, you can bake and add heat to a room. You would be using that fuel for cooking and getting a little extra heating at the same time.
I love this! I am all set for outdoor cooking, but nothing for inside. I have been thinking about getting a butane stove for indoors, i may be saving for this as well. Thanks for the excellent information you provided. I agreed with another poster, would love to see something baked, with the final product shown!
Learning from my grandmother who grew up during WW1/2 and the Depression she always tried to prepare, and that seems to have rubbed off on me. My current camping/emergency biomass prep gear list: 2 Solo Fire Pits, Solo Stove Campfire, Kelly Kettle and now the Ember. Next is a compact pvc well pump and water filtration.
Cast iron pot and propane burner. The propane also fuels the Big Buddy w/ the tank adapter. Honda 2200 generator for the chest freezer but I live in AK. I could just move things outside for 1/2 of the year. Great vid!
Thank you so much for bringing us all ways to survive during grid down. I have learned so much over the last 2 years. I will be able to cook and heat with the Ember oven and my 2 Vestas!
We have a large gas grill with a cover. It does have to stay outside, but we do believe we can adjust the temperature a little better than we can this little oven. Seeing your demonstration I am not sure I want to bake anything like a casserole that would take an hour, or two and sit there constantly adjusting it. We can put our gas grill right outside the sliding glass door. From there we can see the temperature on the temperature gage and quickly turn the knob up or down if it needs adjustment. We also have large umbrellas and can put the grill under a balcony onto the patio under it for protection from snow or rain. Soooo, before I buy the Ember I am going to experiment with the gas grill. We have multiple freezers so if I do lots of small single or double serving meals in aluminum pans then we can heat what we need if it needs high heat. I also have two smaller round Crome chaffers, and one large professional sized one that holds 2 9 x 13 pans, or one ginormous pan in that space. With two sterno cans I can easily have the water in the bottom pan boiling and it would heat freezer meals quite nicely, although it definitely would take longer than our ovens….although I am thinking better than trying to heat up and maintain the Ember at 350-400 degrees for any amount of time. Soooo, I am going to gamble and go for 2-3 extra 20 lb butane tanks. I can let a freezer meal thaw, then heat it in the chaffers. I will practice baking biscuits and smaller yeast rolls, and even loaves of bread and see just what it takes to do that in the grill. We also have two solar power sources and might be able to power our little electric skillets and make pan bread and tortillas. You have me thinking, and I already have all of that equipment. By the way, I did make breakfast and a boxed macaroni and cheese dinner by pulling an oven rack out of my electric stove and putting a 27 oz can of food from the pantry under each corner. I cooked the macaroni under 2 cans of sterno to get it boiling in a reasonable way; I used one can of sterno under my omelette pan and fried eggs and, bacon, and sausage (and I have stocked up some brown and serve sausages just for when our power might go out. We can toast bread in the omelette pan…slow process for 6 people but it worked…..and might be able to toast in my square grill pan that came with my cookware…I did not try it because we ate in shifts. And, of course if I bake biscuits, then I only need to make the sausage gravy on my oven rack stove while the biscuits bake in the gas grill. Long, but I will let you know how my tests come out. By the way, we live at 8,600’ altitude on the front Range of the Rocky Mountains…about 30 min up out of Colorado Springs. We definitely can give that gas grill a good test. I may be out there in my fur coat cooking! And, I am 77.5 years old, birthday in March. LOL. My husband is 82 yrs will be 83 in June. Thankfully we are both strong and healthy compared to most people our ages which is a blessing.
We just got our, The bundle from MYP, with the carrying case and 24 cans of canned heat, and 12 bags fire starter and matches. On Labor day special. Love it! So great to have something to use indoors.
I converted my 27 year old charbroil grill into a wood oven. I can cook on it with cast iron cookware on the top. I use a dutch oven to bake chicken etc and it works great...you dont even have to watch it closely.😮
Thank you so much for this video! I bought one and haven't used it yet- I need a day off to try it- You always give such great tips and instructions! So glad you Bless and share with others! Your videos are a Blessing to me!❤
We live in Northern Az. We have a wood stove in the house. Outside we have a firepit with spark a spark screen and bbq racks. I need to get a couple of cords of wood for the stove but we have charcoal for the fire pit for now. We also have a cast iron pot we can bake with.
Fantastic..Just have to reset your mind on cooking preps/ times .. Just think back when cooking with fire was all our Ancestors had, they started dinners in th AM, they'd loved this oven....😉♥️🥀
this is great and been wanting to get one, but they are very expensive, especially if you are on a fixed income. i did get the heater/grill on, on its way. it was on sale for a reasonable price. my goal it try to get 4 of them, and at least 2 of these
It was mentioned several times that the units metal areas heat up. Have you tried to boil a small pot of water on top of the oven while you're cooking in it? As always thank you for the review.
It gets very warm to the touch but not hot enough to boil water on the top of the oven itself. The heat from the exhaust heat would do that though. You would have to have something to elevate the pot a little over the exhaust vent but - yes that would do it
@@konelbanner4976so are you saying that my stainless steel kettle could get the heat on the exhaust (is that the flat section you’re using twig additions?) but would need to be raised? How would we accomplish that? Any recommendations? On the other part (over the oven) would some water in a couple of stainless cups get hot enough for instant coffee or tea? Thanks Konel.
So excited to get one of these. Waiting for SSCheck to come. Off the subject, do you know where I can purchase a Comfrey plant. I live in West Jordan Utah? I really enjoy your channel I watch it everyday. Thanks so much for all you do to help us prepare for what may be coming.🙏
Bocking 14 or Russian Comfrey (sterile variety so that the seeds don't make your yard into one giant comfrey patch), I recommend getting it from Seeds for Generations bit.ly/3lQXXlG Reach out to me on the contact us page of our website theprovidentprepper.org/contact-us/
I think there are advantages and disadvantages to both. The Ember uses fuel more efficiently but does not generally have the capacity of a Dutch oven. I love how it can be used indoors.
I want this!! I do have the Vesta….and we have Coleman stoves, butane burners, but an oven….what a perk! Have you tried to bake freshly made rolls and/or bread? If so, what were those results?
rolls, breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, rhubarb crisp, burritos, chicken - done it all - learn how to regulate the heat and you will be walking in tall cotton
Wonder how hot the top gets.. Might be able to boil water on it too which would be a great option too.. Bake and boil at the same time.. Maybe fry some eggs as well

Thanks fur this video, I've been thinking about buying one of these. I've already followed Rose Red Homestead's video on cooking bread outside. So I'll see how it goes first.
Remember to keep a window cracked a little whenever using this much flame indoors. I mean the canned heat, obviously the alternate biomass method should be outdoors only.
This looks so complicated!! ...I recommend the All American Sun Oven...Soo very simple to use. Inside or outside All solar. No flame. No danger.. as seen on TH-cam- Off Grid with Doug & Stacy
I love the Sun Oven! The problem is that if you don't have sun, you can't use it. That means poor weather and anytime except between 10 am and 4 pm you can't bake. I would always go to my Sun Oven first if that is an option. It is really easy. It just isn't always an option. I LOVE both the Ember and the VESTA. Check out this video th-cam.com/video/8u-LOtcYQ5I/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvidentPrepper We get full sun probably 360 days/year. The. AASunOven allows stacking several foods at one time. It Sounded like Ember needs different paint. The Sun Oven does work on cloudy days, just needs more cooking time.
My Camp Chef Deluxe Pro propane stove and oven combo would argue that it has been around for several years and works FAR better than this! You can use it indoors and cook and bake
Yes you can use pellets. The grate is small enough that they will work. However, you need to add them a few at a time. If you add a cup then it gets smoky and takes a minute to catch ... don't ask me how I know :)
First I want to say I really enjoy watching your videos. Any advice on what I can get in order to filter water for storage? Also for dirty water or lake water in an emergency?
Thanks for asking. Check out this video th-cam.com/video/C1Jg8QQWf4k/w-d-xo.html and post theprovidentprepper.org/emergency-water-filters-guiding-you-through-the-maze/
Coleman outdoor camping company has had a oven of their own for years though. So idk how the Ember is the first.... More like the 3rd or 4th. Coleman has a nice metal one, few people copied Coleman after that. Ember seems like the 3rd or 4th oven to the market not first.
The difference is that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. I have the Coleman. It is nice and runs off propane but it isn't good for indoor use. That's what makes this one unique :)
@@TheProvidentPrepper I guess where I live it's not uncommon to have your house oven also use propane. You can use propane inside your house despite what some may say. USA has lot of natural gas but not everywhere still. People are using propane ovens and fireplaces inside without issue for dozens of years.
The Hobby Farm Guys were talking about a dexter cow that is high milk, meat and labor and is a dwarf cow breed suitable for smaller paddocks. They have wholesome tips on barn yard animals like chicken varieties and diseases. Great for live preppers. Do you have any tips on high yield low maintenance barn yard animals suitable for prepping?
A goat might be one. They eat just about anything and you can get goat’s milk and cheese from them. Chickens for sure. My friend has backyard chickens in the city.😆
Can you ask Connel to work on a "Rocket **MASS** Stove that acts like the Ember Oven and Vesta Stove/Heater combined?? The manufacturer couldn’t paint the oven with wood stove, heat resistant paint? True, it’s for emergency and aesthetics should be the focal point, but you don’t want to have to also deal with peeling paint near food.
If you use this link bit.ly/3py16J2 the code will autofill at check out. It should be $169.96 with free shipping. Taxes are probably added at checkout.
So…I bought one of these and quickly found out that my bread pan fit in it, but not much else. I do have a glass baking pan that fit, so I decided to try making brownies in it (I was using canned heat.) Not only did they take a LONG time, but only the top really got done-they were quite gooey underneath. The temperature remained between 300 and 350, so I’m not sure what went wrong. Are there some metal pans (other than bread pans) that will fit in this? I’m thinking that a metal pan might bake better in it.
I found a few from reviews and videos. Haven’t tried them personally. Should this oven be stored in a Faraday bag, just in case of an EMP? I know it is not electrical, but not sure if it had other parts that would be damaged. Thank you.
I'm still on the Sun Oven and the bushcraft version of an oven. I like that dude. Not sure why it's so expensive ... $169.95 is more than I could pay for that at this time. Note: The Sun Oven was a gift. kek
I bought my VESTA through My Patriot Supply on sale for $100. I did the payment plan option. I paid it off over three months. It came in three days from the day I ordered it.
Is the Safe heat from Sam’s club still considered alright to use in this oven? I do not see the previous video where Konnel said it was ok to use it along with the alcohol burner. Was that video taken down?
Received my stove a week or so ago. We have tried it twice. Both times with underwhelming results. The first time, we couldn't get it up to 200 degrees. Today, I made some adjustments, and I was able to reach 340 I am using a combination of twigs, bark, and charcoal. It took 40 minutes to cook the biscuits. I haven't tried the cans yet. To be honest, after the first attempt, I was ready to throw this in the dumpster. After today's success and watching this video. I am willing to give it more time. Cans will be next. Patience is a MUST!
Efficient or sustainable? I love indoors because the canned heat is super easy to work with and doesn't take much tending. However, there is pretty much an endless supply of sticks and twigs so in a tough situation you will always have outdoor cooking fuel. It worked really nicely with charcoal.

I ordered one of these gizmos, so that’s how I’ll bake. I also have a cast iron wood burning stove for stove top cooking.
THANKS!
Just what I needed for my off grid cabin.
I love it camping as well as off grid - enjoy
Yay!
It's people like you that we made this for - only tip is use it so you can get used to how to regulate the heat - then it will be so natural and fun
@@konelbanner4976 Thanks Konel! It is a wonderful solution! Appreciate your efforts making this!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have you used your outside cooking with the tea light candles? How did that go? How many candles did it take to boil a small pan of water?
This looks great!! I can not afford a Sun Oven so this is a great solution for me! I like how sticks can be used outside if I ran out of canned heat!
Yep - you will love it - enjoy
I just looked up the price of Canned Heat the cheapest I found was $2.97 and you need two of them so that's about $6 plus tax and they only run for approximately 2 hours so it's going to cost you $6 every time you want to bake something in that oven.
And don't forget that's not all cooking time with those cans because you have to preheat this with that same can that you have to cook with with a 2-hour run time. And when the stores run out of that fuel there goes that option.
I wish they would have spent more time on being able to use sticks and small kindling to run this so you don't have to purchase stuff at the store to be able to use it.
@@backroadsusa6915 Amazon has options for buying in 12 and 24 pack of the SIX hour run time canned heat, so that would be a better option cost wise.
This is a great viable option for us. I love all the thought that went into it. Thank you for sharing.
You are kind - you will really like using it - takes a minute to learn how to regulate the heat - then you are golden
In winter, using canned heat, you can bake and add heat to a room. You would be using that fuel for cooking and getting a little extra heating at the same time.
So true - you will love cooking with it as well
I am ordering the wood stove fan that runs with heat (like the Vesta) and put it on the oven and this will help heat the room while baking.
Great vid!
I like that it can be used indoor. Great for elderly/disabled where being outside may not be safe. I ordered it.
You will totally enjoy it. Take the time to learn to regulate the heat and you will be golden
Thank you so much for bringing us all ways to survive during grid down. I have learned so much over the last 2 years. I will be able to cook and heat with the Ember oven and my 2 Vestas!
I love my VESTA!!! I'm so proud of you!
You are awesome!
We just got our, The bundle from MYP, with the carrying case and 24 cans of canned heat, and 12 bags fire starter and matches. On Labor day special. Love it! So great to have something to use indoors.
On my "to buy when I find work" list!
I'm still praying for you!
@@TheProvidentPrepper thank you!!! You and half my ward it sounds like!
OMG SOLD. I have a sketchy put together for baking on the top of my parents' woodstove, but this is far safer and nicer.
Love it - just takes a time or two to learn how to regulate the heat and after that - bingo - totally fun
Lonely is VERY clever! What a useful tool for cooking! 👍🏻 That price is reasonable as well!
I converted my 27 year old charbroil grill into a wood oven. I can cook on it with cast iron cookware on the top. I use a dutch oven to bake chicken etc and it works great...you dont even have to watch it closely.😮

Ordered my oven and canned 😊 fuel yesterday feel so much better
We live in Northern Az. We have a wood stove in the house. Outside we have a firepit with spark a spark screen and bbq racks. I need to get a couple of cords of wood for the stove but we have charcoal for the fire pit for now. We also have a cast iron pot we can bake with.
Awesome!
An honest review. Nothing was sugar coated. Thank you!
Fantastic..Just have to reset your mind on cooking preps/ times ..
Just think back when cooking with fire was all our Ancestors had, they started dinners in th AM, they'd loved this oven....😉♥️🥀
Ya - love the ancestor thought -
Great emergency oven...it is just so cool!
so kind - you will love it
this is great and been wanting to get one, but they are very expensive, especially if you are on a fixed income. i did get the heater/grill on, on its way. it was on sale for a reasonable price. my goal it try to get 4 of them, and at least 2 of these
It was mentioned several times that the units metal areas heat up.
This looks great! Ordering mine now. I love how it can switch to biomass when the canned heat runs out.
I bought the COBB BBQ. Before I saw this. I’m experimenting with it. Some say it can bake as well. I’m going to try it.
Bocking 14 or Russian Comfrey (sterile variety so that the seeds don't make your yard into one giant comfrey patch), I recommend getting it from Seeds for Generations bit.ly/3lQXXlG Reach out to me on the contact us page of our website theprovidentprepper.org/contact-us/
What's the outdoor benefit over the simple as a rock 3 legged cast iron camp dutch oven?
I think there are advantages and disadvantages to both. The Ember uses fuel more efficiently but does not generally have the capacity of a Dutch oven. I love how it can be used indoors.
Thank you for all your videos. I like this oven so much I order one. I’ll been looking for a biomass oven for the longest. God bless
Great option when the power is out. Thank you for all your great videos!
Thanks for the video. This has been sitting in my shopping cart for a while, I'm about to complete the order now.
Just received mine today, can't wait to use it 👍 Thank you soo much for your great explanations ❤ I also bought the carrier bag 😊
I want this!! I do have the Vesta….and we have Coleman stoves, butane burners, but an oven….what a perk! Have you tried to bake freshly made rolls and/or bread? If so, what were those results?
My bread turned out great. Baked evenly with no dark spots. It fits a full size loaf of bread. It does cook a bit slower but it was awesome.
rolls, breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, rhubarb crisp, burritos, chicken - done it all - learn how to regulate the heat and you will be walking in tall cotton

Watched your video and decided to purchase this stove. Looking forward to trying it out.
This channel's content is awesome!
Thanks so very much for the information and tips. I ordered one - seems very useful for inside use. :)
Use it so you can get used to how to regulate the temp and you will love it like I do
Remember to keep a window cracked a little whenever using this much flame indoors. I mean the canned heat, obviously the alternate biomass method should be outdoors only.
Loved your demo watching from Australia
This looks so complicated!!
...I recommend the All American Sun Oven...Soo very simple to use. Inside or outside
All solar. No flame. No danger.. as seen on TH-cam- Off Grid with Doug & Stacy
Yes they are fantastic but they’re $499 and the Ember is only $199 or $169 with discount.
Too true. Yes the Ember takes more effort but the fact you can use it anytime is fantastic. Do they ship to Australia?
@@TheProvidentPrepper We get full sun probably 360 days/year. The. AASunOven allows stacking several foods at one time. It
Sounded like Ember needs different paint. The Sun Oven does work on cloudy days, just needs more cooking time.
Oh I wish we got that much sun. The size and ability to stack in the Sun Oven is fantastic especially for our large family.
This seems a little small for a big family. We have 12 kids and 34 grandkids. Do you know if they are going to come out with a larger version?
My Camp Chef Deluxe Pro propane stove and oven combo would argue that it has been around for several years and works FAR better than this! You can use it indoors and cook and bake
can you use wood pellets in it? if so, is there a pellet insert that's needed for it or no?
Yes you can use pellets. The grate is small enough that they will work. However, you need to add them a few at a time. If you add a cup then it gets smoky and takes a minute to catch ... don't ask me how I know :)
Very informative video - thank you so much for it. Without it I probably would have had poor results from using my stove wrong. 🥰
Love this! Would you also share the link to the glass pan you cooked your meal in? Thanks for sharing.
Ingenious design!
Can you ask Connel to work on a "Rocket **MASS** Stove that acts like the Ember Oven and Vesta Stove/Heater combined?? I am curious if I could use the indoor safe heat from sams club with this item. It’s so much cheaper than the insta fire
I was wondering the same. I already have some cans from Sam's and Costco.
@@kam2162 Yes they should work fine however the Instafire canned heat has been refined one more time and there isn't a chemical smell like you get with the sterno from Sams. The temperature regulating will be slightly different as well but that is easily overcome.

The manufacturer couldn’t paint the oven with wood stove, heat resistant paint? True, it’s for emergency and aesthetics should be the focal point, but you don’t want to have to also deal with peeling paint near food.

I would appreciate any responses to this posting.
Thanks for sharing this. I see they didn't respond. That's disappointing...
I’d like to know as well Provident Preppers…

I had some canned heat that I bought 40+ years ago and when I found them where I had packed them away, the cans were empty.
Interesting. It sounds like the alcohol evaporated. Were they tightly sealed? I'd love to have seen them.
Where can I find the canned heat heat shield and snuffer?
No warranty? Temperature goes down quickly when one canned heat is extinguished. Not accurate temperature.

Could I use liquid stero cans in this?
Konel has never encouraged it to be used with an alcohol burner .... however, you can use it with stick and twigs outside.
Dutch oven on fire pit or charcoal bbq
This one has a heat shield for the stereo but the stove heater one does not? Uggg
Can you use Sterno?
Received my stove a week or so ago. We have tried it twice. Both times with underwhelming results. The first time, we couldn't get it up to 200 degrees. Today, I made some adjustments, and I was able to reach 340
I am using a combination of twigs, bark, and charcoal. It took 40 minutes to cook the biscuits. I haven't tried the cans yet. To be honest, after the first attempt, I was ready to throw this in the dumpster. After today's success and watching this video. I am willing to give it more time. Cans will be next. Patience is a MUST!
You got this! There is a learning curve. Are you opening the vents to let air feed the fire?
Thanks - I’ve ordered one.
Thanks so much - you will love it
Which way do you think it's more efficient, indoor or outdoor? Thanks!
Indoor with canned heat will give you a more even heat - but as you learn to regulate with sticks and twigs and charcoal - you will love that as well
Efficient or sustainable? I love indoors because the canned heat is super easy to work with and doesn't take much tending. However, there is pretty much an endless supply of sticks and twigs so in a tough situation you will always have outdoor cooking fuel. It worked really nicely with charcoal.
Just added one with Our Solar oven
