ketuts village the biggest smiles in Bali

Negara, West Bali. Lush tropical rain forests, fertile soil perfect for growing vegetables, and so far from the metropolis of Denpasar and the tourist income that this small village is suffering from isolation and lack of food.
Covid has had a disastrous impact on all of Bali but no more than the regional villages and towns which generate a small but vital income from supplying food and resources to the international tourists.
A small group of Aussies, journeyed out there to see what could be done to put some smiles on the faces of the locals.
Assisted by one of their own, Ketut, from K.W Tours, we helped 25 families in extreme financial difficulties to restock their pantry with essential supplies.

Onya Muzza and Ketut. Waiting on new my passport, next year will be there with my son and mate Nyoman, and we will travel to his village and more and I have $10,000 AUS to give away. I don't want money, I have some, but I'll call in on Ketut and travel with my Balinese mate giving sacks of rice and money for Babi and vegetables. Cheers Mate!

Partially because most of the big businesses are owned by Non-Balinese and the money heads offshore or to other Indonesian Islands
