Sir mere bhi basuri ka thread puri tarah se nikal chuka tha...mai bahot hi tension mai aayaga tha ki ab meri basuri kaise dikhane lagi hai... vaigara vaigara...
Lekin mai bahot hi khush hogaya jab mene aapaka ye vdo dekha ..mene is vdo se bahot kuch sikha hai...muze pahale lagata tha ki thread sirf decoration ke liye hota hai...par aaj pata chala uska essential reason....mai ab mere hi nahi balki mere dost ke flute ko bhi thread laga deta hu...keval aap ki vajah se ye huva hai ... Thank you punam flute.....👍👍

Bahot bahot mahatvpurn video banaya hai. Aksar flute ko flutes bags me dalte samay threading loose ho jata hai aur threading nikal aati hai. Aur bina threading ke basuri ki sundarta bhi kam hoti hai. Maine bhi meri ek punam flute ko aapki video dekh kar thread rearrange kar liya thanks🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much sir for uploading this video. This is very helpful as many flautists have faced this problem that the thread gets removed from the flute. I saw this video and threaded one of my flutes by myself. It is explained very nicely and each step is also filmed very nicely. Thank you once again. I find Punam Flutes one of the best flute sellers because of their quality of sound and secondly the nice choice of colours they use for threading.

I too was not aware of the importance of the thread until I came across thiss video of yours. You not only explained the importance but also beautifully explained how we can tie it ourselves at home.
This video was full of to the point informed and really helped me a lot.

Mr Subhash thakur is helping us with his immense knowledge of flutes. The most important thing for a flutist is his flute. To keep flute clean, well-conditioned. Thread will be now second most important for flutist because it will protect our bansuri from being defective. The place between blowing hole and sur hole can be protected from breaking by thread. That means our flute will be partner for longer time than before. Thank you so much Subhash sir, thank you so much Anjani Kumar Gupta sir. You both are getting me closer to art and it's beauty. Thank you so much.

I agree with the 2nd reason of tying thread to the flute. It does look beautiful 😁 I have 1 at home. The thread on the connecting part of the flute came off when I pull the flute from its pouch. Got no idea what that string is for as first timer, i totally took the whole thread off the flute 😆 At least I saved it for later discovery.

You can take any one in medium size. If you want base one then E n natural base will be better

Hi sir I liked your video.
Sir I have one problem with my flute. Actually I think it got slightly bend ( A slight curve shape ). I think this happened because of the pressure we apply with the thumb to hold the flute while playing it.
Will you please help me how will I make my flute normal again.
I searched a lot on internet but no one have that problem. I don't know maybe because of that Higher G note is not sounding clearly.

Put in inside very hot water and then try to bend the flute in opposite direction, then put it in direct sunlight
