- After their last breakfast at the hospital and a final visit from some friends and Poppa Wallace, it's finally time to take Baby Jaden home! Larianne & Roody are greeted with balloons and decorations at home, where Larianne still can't believe that she has a baby.

Bethany Daniels not true. When babies are catered to and loved and "spoiled" during infancy they become more independent as toddlers, teens, and adults.
Its because constantly being their during the first stages of life create a secure and healthy attachment.
Babies qho dont get that are the ones that end up clingy and insecure.
Regina Love I have to disagree ..I just recently had my daughter and have been picking her up constantly and nowwww she cries every time I put her down ..and she refuses to sleep on her own ... only sleeps on my chest

People seem to think that the baby must be attached at the hip and be held 24/7. That's not what is meant. What is meant is that the cry it out method is not okay. One should immediately attend to all of the infants NEEDS right away so that they will have a secure attachment.

Date nights will cut back but you won't even miss them because you will be doing the family thing. I enjoy the fact of knowing I'm home being mommy. Just don't forget to make time for yourselves a couple of times a month you will need that break a little

Larianne we will never get tired of you talking about Jaden. Mommy this is your firstborn beautiful son, and you are sharing your story with us. Ofcourse you are gonna talk about him and we expect that. I think you and Roody are already great loving parents. Jaden is gonna be very smart as he grows up, because of how alert and observant he is. When you guy's talk to him he looks you in the eye so well and pays really good attention. For a newborn I'm impressed. Oh yea be careful when you are changing his diaper for the unexpected splashes. LoL... I remember my oldest son did that the first time I changed his diaper when he was born. I was like 'oh no' nobody warned me of this. LoL

Don't be nervous! Just take going home clothes for yourself and baby, toiletries and something to do to pass the time. All the best :)

Expressing milk(using a pump) within the first month can cause milk production to completely stop.
New moms please take responsibility for your own education because the hospital will not tell you everything.
I’ve had two children and that didn’t happen to me. It hasn’t happened to any of the mothers I have interacted with either. Every body is different and everyone has a different experience.
Larianne & Roody of course, but mothers should still be informed of the risks of choices that are made. I didn't have that issue, but my friend did. It's something that can be prevented and save a mom the devastation of not being able to breastfeed.
All moms should look at the pros and cons of things before deciding was my point. Then do what they feel is best.
Also just another tio for moms . . .
Using artificial nipples of any kind during the first month can cause a latching issue known as nipple confusion.
