Actually, from Cartoon Universe, there's a theory where if a demon dies in Hell, they'll regenerate; however, if a demon gets killed by an angelic weapon it's a complete gameover. They'll literally die. No regenerate or nothing. But I could be wrong.
if a sinner "dies" at the hands of another sinner they'll just respawn but if they die at the hands of an angel or angelic weapon then bye bye sinner. if they're hell born like the imps in helluva boss then they die permanently no matter who or what kills them. Hope this helped.
