      Depends on the syllabus. If old laws are mentioned then u must. But anyways also for better understanding of present act u can go thru the old ones.

    on an average of 3 months’ wages.

      So it's related to gratuity calculation. For gratuity calculation how the wages are taken see the formula for gratuity is. : 15 *last drawn wage*tenure whole upon 26.. and in this formula 15 is 15 days wages for every complete year.

      Means if an employee completed 10 yrs then 15 days wages for 1st completed year, and another 15 days wages for 2nd completed year like that for 10 years. Is it correct mam?
